actually you wouldnt be....

Then that's fine. My only point was that I am not saying I want that as much as that I don't have an issue with it. If one person does, it fails still.

Father/Son Championships

Lefty's team looks solid even without Graham. With him, it looks awfully good.

Here's to hoping for a father/son championship in both leagues at the end of the year.

A little weak at wideout, but overall a great team. Can't believe that Graham fell to the 33rd pick in the "A" league draft and Peyton was still there in the 4th round. We compared the two drafts tonight and boy were they like night and day. The "B" league selected 8 quarterbacks in the 1st four rounds and the "A" league only selected 4 in the first four rounds. Huge difference. Bradshaw and Mendenhall went in the 5th round of the A league draft and I got them in the 7th and 8th rounds of the B league draft. Mike Williams was the 87th pick of our "B" league draft and Dad got him with the 129th pick in the "A" league. Completely different, glad the running backs didn't fly off the board near as fast in the "B" league draft.

If I didnt already have VJax, Williams would not have lasted that long. I think in all the years (over 10) that I've played fantasy, I have only had 2 receivers from the same team on my team 2 times.

Any one bored and care to take a guess which WR tandems I've had?

I also looked at MWTB a few times, but my two WR have week 9 byes and the Bucs play at Seattle that week...didn't like the matchup.

I would also have to go with Starvin' Marvin and Reggie for one. The other, I'll say... Eric Moulds and Peerless Price? Or what about, Ocho and T.O.??

Harrison/Wayne
Smith/Muhammad

back in the early days, before I realized that getting the WR1 from 2 different teams often times is better than 2 WRs from 1 good team. Although I think the Harrison/Wayne team that I had made a playoff run, I think the Smith/Muhammad team was a bottom feeder. May have been Smith's injury year, I can't exactly remember

Couldnt ever get Holt/Bruce, I know I tried one year, but someone almost always drafted one after the other one was drafted.

BTW Wil, the comparison of the first four rounds of both leagues was completely awesome. I'm sure it was time consuming, but well worth it. Simply excellent. You da man.

Will has laid out all the rules of the drone. I'm not sure if it's back in this thread somewhere, or in the MBBRL thread, but it's there, crystal clear for all.

Pretty sure he put it on this thread and the B league thread...............looks like he is having you guys vote on whether or not the drone can make trades and it needs a 100% unanimous vote to be able to make trades.................personally I think it could open a can of woims (spelled like the Little Rascals character) but hey, it's a nunya situation so vote away...............lol.

Yeah, that was shot down. I thought it was kinda interesting, but it seems to me that any trades approved would have been lateral ones anyway. I wonder what people were thinking of offering for RGIII?

Check out posts #855 and #866 on the Message Board Braggin' Rights League thread (probably pages 54 and 55).

Harrison-Wayne and either White-Julio, Cruz-Nicks or Jennings-Nelson/Jones..........

Randy Moss and Chris Carter were a pretty good combo for a couple of years and so were Jerry Rice and Tim Brown, but I still have to go with Harrison/Wayne. Hell, in 2004 if you had Manning as your QB (4500 yds and 49 TD's), E. James as your running back (1548 rushing yds, 483 receiving yards and 9 TD's) and Marvin Harrison (1100 yds and 15 TD's) Reggie Wayne (1200 yds and 12 TD's) & Brandon Stokley (1000 yds and 10 TD's) as your wide receivers. That would be one hell of a team. Jermichael Finley couldn't even find a way to screw that up if he was the tight end.

Historically though, since I am Dolphins fan, would have loved to own Duper and Clayton for the mid-80's Dolphins.

Good point... and I also think Tate will make the difference... had him queued when Tlance took him, and I hope I don't regret it. (think I took the Niners about then, not sure if it was before or after)... which brings me to my point...

If I had to choose another team, I would choose Tlance's hands down -- most of his picks were in my queue, either taken just ahead of me, or taken just after the pick I made instead...we must think alike!

I appreciate the shout out here. I don't feel quite as good about my team as you do. Coincidentally I like yours a lot too. When I saw you were picking ahead of me, I knew my chances of landing Spiller were 0. When I complete my RB rankings, I am toying with putting him in at #1.

In the end, the success of my team is tied to the RBs. I love my WRs and I think Brady will still put up big numbers. Will McCoy play like a top 5 RB? Will MJD survive the season? I can contend if the answer to both those questions is yes. I am just not very optimistic that it will be. :suds:

This year I would take Demaryius and Welker if you could get them. but the shortage of RBs kind of prevent that type of drafting for me.
