Didn't Lefty make the championship game last year?

Yes sir, I did. A classic matchup with last year's humble Champ. My team hobbled in (Bradshaw & some others hurt) while his was clearly superior & peaking. On paper, it shouldn't have been as close as it ended. Hopefully, this isn't a repeat. .....

Also, thanks for the kind words you guys. .... If I could have hit my misses, it would look a lot better. ...
Honestly, I don't see anyone I'd want to play every week. All are contenders. .....

The more I look at my team...

I hate all of you. This draft was brutal. This was more suicidal than the Suicide draft.

Can we start swapping out free agents?

I doubt Williams ends up getting the nod over Stevie Johnson, to be fair.

I'm pretty sure I have Williams over Johnson, but I don't have either of them as anything higher than a WR3/bye week fill in for this season. Stevie Johnson has never overly impressed me, and seems like the little tic-tac nagging injuries are starting to pile up on him.

Maybe wil can post the draft results by round for the leagues, so that would probably answer most of my questions

A league, Keepers of the Flame - a couple takeaways for me from this draft:

RBs are premium, to say the least! You have to get all the way down to round 5 to find the 1st round where RBs didn't dominate the selections. first 4 rounds encompassed an incredible 27 RBs, 56% of the picks taken. I was very glad to take 2 with my first two picks. Much like others around me in the draft, once Marshall, Dez, Demaryius went, I didn't see any WRs that I wanted to draft in the 2nd round.

Biggest reach - SEA DST in round 7 to Scape, pick 80. If you want the top unit, you often have to reach, and we didn't see another DST come off the board for 21 picks after SEA was taken.
RBs came off the board too fast and furious for me to dog on anyone's RB picks. Was defintely a fun twist to this year's draft to say the least.

Biggest steal - Who ever wins out of these round 9 WRs:
Golden Tate - Tlance - pick 103
Sidney Rice - Duff - pick 107
My prediction: There will be a WR in a SEA uniform that proves to be a top end WR2. Will Rice stay healthy? Will Tate put it all together? one of these guys got a gem, just cant decide right now who it was. If I had to choose, I lean towards Tlance/Tate, just cause he is tough, a good run blocker, and I like his odds to play/practice regularly compared to Rice's.

Good point... and I also think Tate will make the difference... had him queued when Tlance took him, and I hope I don't regret it. (think I took the Niners about then, not sure if it was before or after)... which brings me to my point...

If I had to choose another team, I would choose Tlance's hands down -- most of his picks were in my queue, either taken just ahead of me, or taken just after the pick I made instead...we must think alike!

Just curious - what round did you take Ivory in, and what other RBs were available? Same question for Mike Williams.

Solid foundation, but just wondering about those 2 guys since you have them in your starting lineup, and if they were on my team, Id want them on my bench

Took Ivory at the end of the 5th, should have grabbed Ingram but overlooked him some how (he went next pick) Williams went in the 8th. I'm probably higher on Williams then most, he caught 9 TD's last year and has Vincent Jackson lined up opposite him and Martin at RB to keep defenses honest. Really expecting good things from the Bucs offense this year. I did take Steve Johnson before Williams in the draft though

I like Mike Williams as well even though I didn't get him in either draft yesterday. He could be really good for you.

I love Golden Tate this year. All signs out of camp are that he is tearing it up. Would love to see him have a Victor Cruz-type season out of nowhere, mostly because I own him in my other league that I've drafted in (in which I also have Russell Wilson).

Smo, I know you directed this to TK, but I also got Ivory in the 5th (last pick, 60th overall). I have Ivory as my 3rd RB behind Forte and Wilson. If he's healthy in week 1, I'd definitely start Ivory in the flex spot over any of my other bench players.

BTW: sent you a trade request via ESPN.

Well if Le Foot were in the A, he'd offer you his worst WR plus Patterson. Oh wait, that might be the same player.

Wow. I'm just down right nasty today. Must be the happy happy joy joy I have for my team!

Here's the Drone (Pick 7):

QB: Rodgers
RB: Rice
RB: BJGE
WR: VJAX
WR: Welker
TE: Bennett
Flex: Wallace
DST: Packers
K: Bullock

QB: RGIII (yeesh... and Drone doesn't trade)
WR: Antonio Brown
WR: L. Moore
RB: LeShoure
RB: Stewart

The ESPN auto-pick did NOT fill out starters before taking bench players. In fact, it took a backup QB and a bench WR before taking a second RB in the 8th (BJGE).

yes thats y i have Eli and not Rg3 or Luck

however if things fall into place Eli could be just fine

Are we allowed to trade with the drone if the rest of the league agrees it's a fair trade?

Team Lefty -
QB - P. Manning (Rd4) - A little early than I wouldhave preferred but couldn't pass on the value and I knew he'd never make itback in Rd 5. ( my rank 35, pick 40th)
RB - Trent Richardson- (Rd 1) - Best available 3 down RB on my list . (rank 8, pick 9)
RB - S. Jackson - (Rd 2) - Actually was looking atForte here but he went earlier. But is another3 down back in a great offense. (rank14, pick 16)
WR - J. Nelson - (Rd5) - Missed on top tier WR's due to TE & QB picks in Rd's 3 &4. Injury concerns, but very solid inhigh powered offense when healthy. (rank46, pick 57)
WR - A. Brown - (Rd6) - several options available here but has higher upside. (rank 54, pick64)
WR/flex - C. Shorts -(Rd 7) - all viable RB's long gone. Featured Jags WR for at least first 4 weeks. They will be behind andhave to pass, even Gabbert can make completions against prevent. (rank 73, pick 81)
TE - J. Graham - (Rd3) - really didn't want to do it, planned RB here or in the 4th butcouldn't pass the value. (rank 16, pick33)
DST - Steelers - (Rd 12) - DSTrun began earlier than anticipated but still made out ok. Always solid with Tomlin in-charge.
K- G. Hartley - (Rd14). High powered offense, plays ina dome.
Bench -
WR - M. Williams -(Rd 11) - shocked he was here. Goodbye-week player and/or fill-in as needed. (rank 83, pick 129)
WR- J. Gordon - (Rd 9) - another value toogood to pass, will likely be flex or starter after wk 2. (rank 88, pick 105)
RB - R. Hillman - (Rd8) - needed some RB depth and may be starter, although not excited abouthim. Possible bye-week play. (rank 94, pick 88)
RB - D. Woodhead -(Rd 10) - already passing down back, which SD will do a lot. Potential bye-week or flex play. (rank 106, pick 112)
WR - D. Thompkins -(Rd 13) - flyer pick here, has made good impression with Brady and hoodieso may be a gem. If not, I will need aslot for bye-week replacements anyway. (rank165, pick 153).
---------------------
All in all, I'm not unhappy with the team, although I wish Ihad at least one more definite starting RB, and a top tier WR (although potential is there). Lack of RB depth there is a bit concerningbut it is what it is.

A few picks that didn't quite fall right for me; S. Vereenor D. Bowe (RD 5), D. Richardson or D. Jackson (Rd 7), G. Tate (Rd 9).

Hey Lefty i was also 8 and we have the same first 2 picks

Graham was long gone by my 3rd pick or our teams would be a lot more similar...
