For all we know, the Mets finishing 2nd might be more of a testament to how bad the division (other than the Braves) has been than a future outlook.

I know you wrote that over a year and a half ago, but notice has been served. The Braves and Phillies now will be duking it out for the number one draft pick, and the Nats and Marlins will finish 1-2.

At least my Mets remain consistent at 3rd.
