How long does Dwight Howard have before he HAS to decide on his new team? What are the deadlines under the free agency rules?

(Don't really want to hear Dwight-making-up-his-mind-and-leaning-toward-Team-X-and-now-Team-Y-and-now-Team-Z news stories for months to come.)
