Absolutely sickening news out of Rochester today! I don't even know what to say anymore. People never cease to amaze me. I heard on the radio that it was unknown (at the time but perhaps known now) if the shooter was killed by himself or by a police shot. I really hope that the cops took him down and that he didn't have the satisfaction of doing it himself. Man do I ever hope this doesn't start a new trend for copy-cats to feed off of. At least it wasn't dozens of school children but that is very disturbing any time of year, let alone Christmas Eve.

Suicides and crap like this always are higher during the holiday season. People get more depressed and act on their depressions for various reasons. I feel it's even worse this year because the economy is so shitty. I hate to see anyone take their own life but agree that if that's what is their ultimate choice I just wish they would park the car in the garage turn on the engine and close the doors and not take innocent people with them.

Oh dear. I know where that school is. Didn't live very far away from it in my time out in California.

Early report is two injured and the guy is now in custardy. I think they evacuated the school and the gunman might have been in there for awhile. That is what the news is pudding out there so far, but details are kind of sketchy.
