You need to remove your and my obvious biases here. Look at the body of work and their positions they are in their conferences. It's very apparent to the nation that UGA won the SEC East because they have the weakest schedules in the SEC this year. Yet they are ranked #3 BECAUSE they are in the SECCG.

Mizzou is the third ranked team, and USC was 6th at the time. Look at the one loss teams, out of them, UGA's loss was against a higher ranked team than anyone else... except UF.

No other contender, can claim a top 5 win... the #3 ranking, however, is irrelevant. If Georgia beats Bama in the SEC CG, they will have earned their spot - if not, then UF goes to the Sugar Bowl (which is the best you could hope for since UF couldn't beat UGA.

I never see UGA get "SEC bias" compared to Bama, LSU, or UF though because we haven't been good enough to have a 1 loss team and be this good in awhile. Also, there was major suckage of Tebow cock when he was here and had been on 2 1 loss NC teams. It's nice to have a team ranked so high

I'm not very confident about the game, but Bama's has shown that they do have flaws. Namely a lack of a dominant pass rush and a less than stellar passing game. I think Georgia has a great chance against Alabama.

^^This. LSU and aTm put the finger on some of 'Bamas weaknesses. They're not the end-all/be-all everyone thought up until that point.

Bottom line is, UGA beat UF and will not be ranked above UGA unless they lose to Bama in the SEC CG. IF Georgia wins that game, it will validated.

Although they manhandled OSU so their ranking ended up being justified...I remember so many people were upset that they went to the NC over Michigan and Wisconsin. Nobody wanted a rematch for OSU and Michigan like they did for LSU Bama last year.
Bottom line is that their has been bias the last 6 or so years to the SEC. It isn't like it's happening just now
