I wish wash hadn't sent and injured Cruz out in the bottom of the ninth and used Chavez like he should've.
Does anyone think this team will compete for a championship this year and here on out?
As much as I still despise the Cardinals for stealing our World Series from us, and as much as I can't stand that gravel-voiced douchebag Chris Carpenter, I agree with Al here. You've got to tip your cap to them for digging down deep and stealing another 9th inning victory.
Begrudgingly, I will be rooting for them over the Giants. I do this on fan base alone. I actually went to a World Series Game in both SF and STL and my experiences there were polar opposites. The Cardinals fans were mostly very friendly and welcoming. The Giants fans however were extremely rude and downright hostile. We had stuff thrown at us, we were cussed at constantly, and one guy went so far as to tell me he was going to "f'ing kill me" if he saw me in the parking lot. I also saw other Rangers fans being harassed well beyond what a normal competitive environment should offer.
So for me it's (unfortunately) Tigers vs. Cardinals.
I originally wanted Orioles vs. either Nationals or Reds.
Ya know... I kinda want to see Ichiro get a ring. He's had a great career....why not top it off?
Yes, that's cheering for the Yanks... but oh well.
Good thing we don't have negs anymore
I'm going for DET and SF. SF beat us solidly, STL was gifted their win.

If the Rangers had luck like the Cardinals, you wouldn't have to play the season. I can say this without any hesitation ... you guys are the best team in baseball.
Thats the most frustrating thing watching the Playoffs this year is that I am watching Teams Play that for the most part the Rangers were beating the Past Two Years. The 2010 or 2011 Texas Rangers are better then all these Teams.
