I have Georgia behind USC and West Virginia but they did win a huge road game Saturday and looked very good, I could see them in top 5.

I was never sold on USC and I still am not. I dropped them behind WVU in my recent poll. I think USC will have trouble getting through Pac12 South unscathed and may not even win the division. Depth will be their issue.

I am surprised people are ranking TCU so high in their polls. I haven't seen anything from that program that shows they belong in top 25 or top 10 for that matter.

Waiting on putting the Arizona teams in the poll until another good win or so. ASU plays at Missouri next Saturday which will be a good gauge for that team as well as Missouri.

Oregon is my HUGE favorite to win the Pac12 now.

Alabama and LSU are on an entirely different level than the rest of the NCAA.

If you are wondering why I am leaving Ohio State off my poll, it is because of probation. IMO, they are the second best B1G team so far after Michigan State (if not the best) but I am not ranking them because they are ineligible to be in the title game. I didn't define the rule and I don't mind people voting for OSU.

ACC is still a mystery to me. FSU, Clemson, GT, and Va Tech seem to be the only good teams in the league. However, it is early to even see if all of them are that good (the Auburn win isn't looking as good as for Clemson and FSU hasn't played a real opponent yet).

Big12 is a solid league, KSU and Texas look good so far. WVU and OU also have great teams. Iowa State could be a sleeper.

What would it take? They return virtually the entire offense from an elite unit, and they have arguably the best defensive coach in America. What more do you need?

Who has Oklahoma beaten again? They struggled against UTEP, some other teams have showed out and moved up. Oklahoma will have their chance to move up.

Oklahoma hasn't done badly enough to be dropped out of the top ten altogether. And what has Georgia done to warrant a #3 ranking exactly? Your homerism is showing.

I disagree.

I think they are better than the teams I have at #4-25. That simple. Also, I had them at #2 in my preseason poll and I'm not dropping them until I see a reason to... or one of these other teams shows out & moves up.

I didn't compare OU to UGA, so I don't know where you are going with this.

I think OU's struggle with UTEP warranted a slight drop, while a few other teams have earned a slight bump. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Just my opinion.

Several teams were started much higher than they deserved. Also, teams were started lower than they deserved.

Just because OU was undeservedly ranked top 5 preseason doesn't mean they deserve to be there now that people has had opportunity to see them play.

Undeservedly in your opinion. K-state will be a good test.

I mentioned this in the other thread, but two of the polls have Nevada in the 15-20 range and list them as 2-0. Nevada is 1-1, they lost to South Florida.
