Death On Black Wings
ASsU needs to prove themselves against real competition....I've seen them pull this early season gimmick too many times.
What about Baylor?
I guess beating SMU is more impressive than Illinois.

Missouri
Huge like omg Georgia won a road game west of the mississippi? That kind of huge?
Georgia gets beat, its coming!
It was a huge game. First real game of the season for UGA, SEC opener, Mizzou's SEC debut, in a stadium that was as crunk as it ever has been, against a pass happy offense with 4-5 starters out on defense, first real test for a number of freshman that UGA is starting, hype, etc...
Georgia has won more games west of the Mississippi than it has lost.
I don't know if that's true , but maybe it will sucker you into the research.
ASU did it last year, started out 5-1 and ranked in top 20 and collapsed.
UCLA has done it numerous times, that year they beat Texas and Tennessee only to collapse and not even finish with a winning season. Heck, even 2006 when they beat USC is an example.
Note the upsets are always on the West Coast. When these teams travel they get smashed.
Also, SEC plays tough OOC as well. Week 1 the two premiere games on Saturday involved SEC teams (Alabama v. Michigan; Auburn v. Clemson). Tennessee played NC State Friday night. LSU played what was supposed to be a good Washington team last Saturday.
USCDoom, I gave UCLA benefit of the doubt because I do think they have a new attitude but if you look at past threads, I even picked UCLA to beat Nebraska http://www.sportshoopla.com/forums/...on/78743-nebraska-ucla-has-upset-written.html
I have just seen the same old story time and time again where some Pac12 team wins a game they were not suppose to, usually over a top ten team that ends up finishing the season 5-7. Remember Wisconsin barely beat Northern Iowa in week 1, Illinois is a B1G bottom feeder, and Okie State was playing a true freshmen QB. Let us watch the season play out before we proclaim Pac12 dominance or that ASU and Arizona are back.
Did you read the fine print?
I do see a few schools you left off of that list, just off of the top of my head.
I thought that was what you wanted...
What schools?
I just think that if you are going to use Impressive to rank schools, then ASU has to be ranked. ASU has been more impressive than USC or Oregon, yet ASU has to prove themselves??? I Dont Know, that just seems wrong.
Also it is not like they have Dennis Erickson still, they actually have a guy that focuses on Details.
UCLA has a Poor and Very Young D, they will lose games because of it. ASU has shown No Weaknesses at all. Other than Hoping they turn into ASU like last year!!
As of now, I think of the 4 games to end the season, ASU will be the toughest. USC plays
Oregon
ASU
At UCLA
Notre Dame (though the last two games might be flipped, I dont remember who we play 1st this year)
