You do realize that we are talking about a 4 team playoff, right? 3 champions from "top rated" conferences (who rates them?) and a wild card spot... check this scenario, there are undefeated conferences champions from the PAC12, BIG12, BIG10, SEC and ACC... guess who gets left out. An undefeated ACC Champion Virginia Tech - left out of the playoff... how could you be in favor of that?

I don't think the BCS is going anywhere anytime soon, even with a playoff.


An 8 team playoff is not guaranteed, if the 4 team playoff even happens.



Seems like the BIG10 wants 3 CC plus a wildcard in the playoff, the SEC wants the top 4 from the BCS in, and the BIG12 wants them seeded by committee.

I don't know which is best, but I'm heavily leaning towards the SEC and/or the BIG12's plans. I don't think 3 CC should get auto bids.

No. They want the 3 most successful of the conference champions to be honored, and they want the 4th spot open to a wild card like Alabama last year.
