what long rant are you even talking about? Most comments I see by you are a couple sentences.

You're missing the point. The long back and forth you had with others criticizing your team for being soft and/or not playoff ready, not a rant of my own.

If LeBron had one iota of sense, and was not about every single last dollar and every single last point- he would take the MLE and come to Cleveland and play 25 minutes a night- stay healthy- and put another title on his shelf.

but he needs every single last dollar, every single last point, every single point of attention- and would never give up a fraction of it even if it meant another title or two- something he has no chance at in LA.

He could do that with the lakers and they’d duck the tax and have the full mid level exception available and they could buy an early-ish second rounder and maybe land a kalkbrenner

honestly- giving up 70 million bucks over 2 years, and some points (when he is already the leading scorer of al time)- seems like it would be a deal to get 1 or 2 more titles on the shelf.

but he needs every single last dollar- and will never hurt his relationship with LA and Hollywood that he is banking on post NBA.

No guarantee he gets anything else anywhere, far from it in fact.

full mid level isnt gonna make them a title contender- but i do understand what you are saying- Dirk and Duncan did this. It would help that is for sure--- but he just cant bring himself to give up anything to try and get his team positioned for another title. Its why he will finish where he finishes title wise....its not the most important thing anymore for him and it hasnt been for a while.

Dude , I used to think you were one of the more level headed posters who actually had some common sense

I was WRONG

you and your several alts are 1 big dummy

Have a nice day

LOL. He has no alts here. All those names in agreement are an indication of the whole board disagreeing with you, not some underhanded trickery lol.

LOL. Your idea of sense is for an MVP candidate this past season to give up $50M to play essentially a rotational role on a team that can't get out of the second round in backwater USA. He left you twice (the second time with a nice parting gift, stop pining for him (and taking shots at him out of the side of your mouth). You're acting like a twice dumped side-ho.

TITLETOWN CLEAVELAND OHIO! What a joke.

Not that it's happening either way but under 2nd apron not even sure Cavs can sign someone off the team to the MLE...only vet min.

while I can understand why Lebron would not do that to be fair pretty decent chance if the Cavs started Lebron with JA, Mobley, DG and Mitchell they might get a tad further.

I mean, like the ridiculous comments from ex players it's likely most have the absurd opinion they are soft. Do you? Only you can answer that.

And, hell, might they been in past? I guess (think was more injuries last year and just bad bench vs. NY)? But in loss to Indiana toughness way down on list if being realistic. It was terrible shooting and credit to Indiana for amazing shooting.

when next season starts the Cavs will be the favorites in Vegas to come out of the East

the Lakers will be favorites to get the most undeserved media coverage.

what would help LeBron and his legacy more?

an extra 50 million- or a real chance to actually add to his title collection? - something he has no chance of in LA

I do wonder why LeBron doesn't play for less his last couple years to improve the chances of another ring

Little early in the offseason to be making these predictions. Let’s see what moves are made.
The haters are going to hate LeBron regardless. If he went back to The Land and won a ring they would just call him a front runner and give him not credit anyhow.
