No more fluids after 7:30pm my time.....

Waking up way too much in the middle of the night. This getting older shit is really getting on my fucking nerves.
I’m older than you and I rarely have to get up in the night. Go get that prostate checked, make it a fun filled day.

A lot of pages to scroll which begs the question....what the fuck happened in here today?
To summarize for you:
The league is corrupt, but basketball fans are stupid and don't care and will watch anyway as long as they are in one of the NBA's preferred cities with new stars.

Let's start with the red head step child Clippers. They've been trying to get a portion of Los Angeles for what, 40+ years. I'm sure they just sign off saying sure move Luke to the Lakers so they get yet another decade of So Cal dominance.
They share the revenue. The Lakers have a story and the Clippers have a story. Both franchises playing their part. The Clippers get money for simply existing. What exactly are you accusing them of?

Yeah just like that thief sticking that slim jim in his back pocket. Don’t worry guys, I can pull this off.

There are no guarantees. One leak over 30+ years ruins the league. If you think that is possible, you are dumber than a bag of rocks
A leak from who? How long did it take to find out about the Tuskegee experiments?

Which, for the record and to underline the point, is way worse than playing a little funny with some public entertainment.

Then they do a really shitty job rigging it.

Because the best players don’t end up in the most marketable places.
You don't understand. Did you expect every single star and lottery pick to go to LA?

How does that grow the league?

How is that marketable in anyway?

The best players have to play against each other to have a functioning league.

And the league doesn't control the larger population and financial trends. They just respond as they go. That shouldn't surprise you.

And before that Cleveland got the #1 pick 3 times in 4 years. Yeah I am sure they wanted Cleveland to form that superteam....ratings through the roof in a huge market LOL It's absurd
Hmmmmm

The team was valued at 64 million in 1999.

Sold for 375 million in 2005 immediately after Lebron went there.

It's a bit more complicated than that in practice which is why they don't show the lottery itself.

They draw the 4 lottery balls randomly. There are 1001 possible variations that can come from 4 slots and 14 possible values. They then assign a corresponding number of combinations to each team.

So the Jazz had a 14% of getting the number one pick so they got 140 4 value combinations. The Mavs have a 1.8% chance so they go 18 combinations.

So draft the first sequence for No. 1. Say it is 12,5,6,9. Whichever team has that combination then gets the Number 1 pick. Go on to the 2nd pick and they do it again. If they draw another combo that the first team has, they draw again.

The process is logical but a bit convoluted. Actually harder to rig than the straight ping ball process.
It's too complicated to show to dumb basketball fans. Let's just use a credible reporter to tell them it's all legit.

Nuh uhh every player didn't go to LA, NY and Chicago so it can't possibly be rigged because your one small minded thing didn't happen.

lol

All of that bluster and stupidity and still no conspiracy theorists have answered why the league would risk it's own existence and billions of dollars to make sure 1 player goes to a certain team.

Is anyone surprised that its Philly fans arguing hardest for this bullshit?

It's not a risk and if there's any risk that's why you don't know about it.
