Membou is a RT and a RT he will be.....

And that is a bit problematic for the Pats after signing Moses to a big deal to play RT. Moses has played LT before so maybe could try to flip him to the other side but his success has been on the right and not sure I would take that risk.

Yeah if I was picking Mebmou would be my choice. I think he has a really good chance to be a quality 10-year starter in the league and be both a nice help in the run and pass game.
I'd take Josh Simmons. He is the only true LT in the top 10 tackles.....

After hearing Vrabel respond to the media, I get a feeling that he and Wolfe have already set a plan for the draft.

Just my guess:

Trade #4 to LV for #6 and #68 OR CAR for #8 and #74

THEN

Trade that pick to SF for #11 and #75

With #11 draft Will Campbell if he falls that far or Josh Conerly if Campbell is gone.

Then they'll have #69, #74, #75 and #77 in Round three and should be able to put a couple of picks to move back to the second round for a player who they really like.

All those trades to get more 3rd round picks and lose a starter?
Most of those 3rd rounders would then go to the practice squad and get picked up by other teams.
Depending who we want in 1st round, I can see going to #6 but I don't see us going back to #8 behind the Jets.

It was a good press conference. He just sat at a table and let the questions fly. You never get to see how many people are standing around the table, but as the questions go on, you can almost feel and see the pushing and shoving intensify. From what was said after, no other coach has given as much time or freedom to ask questions. Tom Curran said it was like flock of buzzards finding a fresh carcass.

Says you and Mike Vrabel.

Vrabel's exact words.........“Caedan, they were trying to [develop him] from the XL tight end, and he was doing a nice job,” Vrabel said. “He was playing physical, doing a nice job, and then got injured, and by all accounts, worked extremely hard through that process to, one, get back, but also to train while he was out. So, looking forward to working with him.”

“We’re going to bring the players in on April 7. I think that Caedan [Wallace] is certainly going to get an opportunity there as the roster is currently constructed and Vederian [Lowe] is going to be coming back; he had a little procedure. I think the draft is going to be a good option for us. There’s a lot of guys in the draft that we like at a lot of different levels. I’m confident between now and the time that the season starts that we’re going to have something that we believe in and a plan that’s going to help us.”

So just to be clear you heard Vrabel make a comment and deduced, all those trades?

I think most can agree trading down makes some sense. But Wolfe's recent comments of " We'll take best player available" has me guessing. Guess we'll know in a few weeks

The Giants have signed Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson. The sense is that they will take either Hunter or Carter depending on who is available at #3. Indications are that they will not take Sanders. If that occurs, the Patriots may be in a sticky spot. Teams may not be too anxious to pay the price for the leftovers at #4 and the value will be less than if one of the two blue chip players are not there.

If the Patriots are backed into that corner, there doesn't appear to be a consensus of thoughts of what they will do. Yesterday, Mason Graham was at Foxboro and the word was that they just using one of their 30 visits to get a final tab on him.

A growing idea that a few people have grabbed is that the Patriots will draft Tyler Warren at #4 and Trade #38 and #77 for #21 and draft Josh Simmons if he is still there. If not, they will wait until #38 and pick up the best remaining LT.

There is some talk that Eliot Wolfe is trying to talk Vrabel into selecting 6'6" 250# TE Colston Loveland MICH. Wolfe reportedly believes that he will immediately become the next Rob Gronkowski.

Sanders may drop to the bottom of the first maybe round two. I am not sure teams are all caught up on the hype wagon. IMO the Giants would smart to take Carter he is the perfect NYG. As for us at 4, if teams want Hunter they will reach out, if teams want Sander they will recah out, if they do not we take the best LT

I'm OK with Warren and Simmons.
Personally, I would rather see Jeanty and Simmons.

I really like Loveland too, but not at #4. Same with the RB from UNC.
