Current Vibe: Happy As F&$@.

Wife told me her and her girlfriend are going to Ikea in Jacksonville tomorrow. I said great, hey, pick up a pie on the way home. I have no lawn or house projects this weekend. I will likely clean the bathrooms top to bottom but I do that once a week anyway.

Looks like a March Madness Chill-A-Thon tomorrow with that new TV and some Jameson Black Barrell

Sounds Delicious!!!

Beans? No beans?
Ground beef? Chuck roast? Brisket? Cubed Steak?

I use a combo of steak grilled on the weber then cubed and and ground beef.
A couple Jalapenos, a couple chili peppers, a habanero or two, and both black beans and ranch beans.

And I've taken partial to Bernheim Original.

Sometimes I use a combo of 1 lb hot sausage, 1 lb ground beef and 1 1b or so of smoked steak, preferably ribeye.
Ribeye has great flavor.

Hmmm I am thinking I might try to Hickory smoke a chuck roast and try that with some sausage

Only if interested and if you don't hate U2 but they have a song called One. And they asked Mary J Blige to duet with them if you get a chance to listen to it, IMO it well worth the listen

U2 at Vanderbilt's football Stadium in 2011. It was band that my wife had always wanted to see and when the tickets went on sale I called in sick so I could be on line. EVERYTHING went perfectly.
I mean EVERYTHING.
We hesitated on grabbing the first set of tickets that popped up as we had never been to the stadium and they timed out as we tried to get a handle on where they were. We just grabbed the next set because the resellers were claiming them FAST.
The night of the concert we went to J. Alexanders for dinner which is right outside the stadium. Dinner was GREAT for a chain. We asked and they said sure, because we had been customers we could leave our car in their lot. Weather was about 75-80 with a warm summer breeze. Seats were AMAZING. Nobody in front of us A local Sheriffs deputy positioned right there to keep shenanigans down and the first time I really listened to One. A great song by a great band.

Cool story. Happy you could do that for her.

I am huge fan of music, especially lyrics and great storytellers. I really like U2 to this day. Thanks for posting vid. Man she sang with such passion

She did sing with passion but I like the original better. I'm an old die hard U2 fan.

I saw a lot of concerts back in the day. Many artists from 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. I won tickets to a Michael Jackson concert at Dodger Stadium in his prime. Unfortunately, I’m not a Michael Jackson fan. Pepsi provided transportation, front row seats, tour of LA hotspots, etc. that made it bearable but I felt guilty knowing how many would have given anything to be there.

What do Michael Jackson and Walmart have in common?
They both have little boys pants half off

I had to change my shorts and underwear a few minutes ago. I saw an article that some psychologist has determined that the word "PROCRASTINATE" and nouns and verbs associated with it such as "PROCRASTINATOR" or "PROCRASTINATION" are negative and harmful to a person's well-being and mental health.

She says that going forward we must start using a new term.........................."TASK PARALYSIS"

Can you imagine telling your boss that you can't finish a project because you have a serious case of task paralysis???

Leaving the hospital today. I have been I since Saturday. I occasionally pass a kidney stone but this time I decided to pass stones from both kidneys at once. I underwent surgery Sunday to remove them. It was great fun. Instead of the pain of passing a stone, I’m getting the same pain every 30 minutes while pissing through a bloody mess. I’m still connected to a catheter but will resort to diapers when leaving. I have stints in my urethras that will be removed in 5 days and then I should be normal about a week from today. I might be a little cranky! I could drink beer when I get home but then I would have to piss - not a good plan I think.
All great fun!

Cranberry juice, lemon water, Apple Cider Vinegar. They all help reduce stones.
