It makes a lot of sense. He's an accomplished vet who probably won't cost a ton, and you can lean on him a bit until whatever WR you draft next month is ready to take on a bigger role. Kupp could be a 1 or 2-year seat warmer for sure.

I mean with how active we've been in free agency, I assume that's what they're counting on. Draft OG/OT/S/WR/EDGE in the first 5 picks and hit on 4/5... and then get another DB and DL in round 4-7 and assume they are average.

lmao... that's stupidly unrealistic... I mean if that happens yah, you just built a Super Bowl team... but the probability of that is SUPER low if not unheard of.

In theory R1 to R3 picks should be starters. R4 should be good role players and R5 thru R7 is a crap shoot.

I'll even take 3 starters hopefully 1 on the o-line and 2 good roll players.
