I also have a couple of coworkers that sell me eggs...free range/organic...for $2 a dozen.

Saw a guy on television last week and he said, "The Biden administration ordered me to destroy six and half million hens. They told me that I could not give them a second vaccine. They said it had not been fully approved by the FDA.."

That might be a reason why eggs are skyrocketing. Slow government approval and millions of hen deaths.

I paid $9.99 for 18 Large free range eggs at BJs yesterday. Until recently, I ate three eggs for breakfast at least three times a week. Looks like I'll be cutting back to two eggs.

NOTE::: If yolks are separated from the whites, they can be frozen and are safe to eat for four months. The frozen separated whites are good for a year.

I've been annoyed at work lately. I jumped on a project that had the potential to save the company close to a million bucks. I jumped on it because I knew I have unique skills and experiences to deliver something quickly. In a month's time I created a solution that reaches all but $5,000 of that goal. They want me to continue for the next two months to find that final $5k.

I point out the savings does not justify the effort and I'm countered with points that justify it. Others agree with those points, okay, I get it. But those points are lies. Give me good points and I'm onboard. Lie to an audience that doesn't know better? Bye, bye team. The guy who creates that efficiency in a few weeks ain't getting fired.

If you are 5k short on a million-dollar savings, then management is being petty. I would propose some of the executive staff wanting the last 5k take pay cuts.

As we used to say:
Tripping over a dollar to pick up a dime.
So they will pay you $10,000 in salary in order for you to save $5,000 ?? (Or something like that) Not to mention Management salaries to review and have meetings.

Honestly? Look at the highest paid jamoke that's as useless as tits on a bull.

In front of the entire management team announce that you've found more than a hundred grand over the $5000.

"Eliminate useless positions like dah dah dah."

The guys above him will think you have balls the size of grapefruits. The guy whose throat you slashed and his closest friends will be puckering up.

I did it once to my boss. Then she tried to firs me and I went to HR and threatened to sue for illegal retaliation. They fired her. I got a better job about four months later. Sometimes you have an opportunity to open some eyes.

Ever see the movie Legend? Will Smith living in an empty New York trying to figure a way to reverse the zombies?

Mother nature would do her thing. Plants would eventually crack the asphalt and concrete. Vines would start to climb every building. She would do it slow in some places and much quicker in others. The earth would regurgitate from its bowels and start to cover areas with fresh lava. Maybe, someday she'd start another race of humanoids and not let them be as foolish as our type has been.

Global warming is not about emissions. It's about covering one third of the earth's surface with man-made materials that hold and reflect heat and keep mother earth from breathing properly.
