I don't follow the Lakers but I do follow Tennessee sports and was wondering how Knecht is working out. I thought he would do OK, he was able to score off the dribble in college and had really good court awareness but I was suspect of his defense. What's he been like other than your description? Thanks.

Western Knecht is doing fine and the Lakers caught themselves almost trading him for a injury-prone back-up Center from the Hornets. The Lakers are now glad that trade did not work out and Knecht is back playing and doing well with the Lakers. He is going to be a good one!!

Luka Doncic does look like the Lakers' trainers are doing a damn good job of getting stronger, leaner, and in much better shape then when he arrived from Dallas!! This trade could be the steal of the century for the Lakers!!

He was probably eating and drinking too much when he was hurt and let himself get outta shape rather than being disciplined and staying in shape.

The Lakers defensive efficiency is 3rd best in the NBA (think it was 23rd) before trade) since the Doncic trade. Small sample size but they aren't as bad as expected after trading AD.
