With the increase i the salary cap, don't be surprised if several OT are resigned by their own teams. The Ravens now have enough to offer Ronnie Stanley a significant raise from his $7.5M salary in 2024. NOTE: If they do not, it might be a warning that they felt 2024 was an outlier year. He played every game after missing multiple games to injuries over the previous three.

Cam Robinson (MIN) was making $18.5M and will be looking for at least $5M more. Minnesota is trying to get him back for a little less.

So......................Keep a close eye on the Patriots making a move toward one of these three:

Jackson Barton ARZ
Geron Christian CLE
Jackson Carmen MIA

All three are making less than $1.5M in 2024 and might be swayed to play in the cold of NE for $10M -12M

I can see a bidding war for both Staley and Robinson. No way agents are going to let these guys settle for less, especially considering the increase in the cap. If nothing else I hope NE drives the price up.

Again FA grab a RT, then draft a LT get that 5 year option. At least that's what I am hoping for
I'm good with this. But why not entertain a LT, RT and WR in FA? The money is there. Then just think of the possibilities of what NE could do with the #4 pick. Stay put and take Graham, Carter, McMillian or Jeanty. Drop down and possibly still get one of these guys or one of the two top Ts. Or the top TE while picking up a an additional draft pick. It'd be like playing fantasy football.

Have said before if we can get a RT for less, then a DE, WR or CB I would be happy

FA can't get here soon enough. If NE is aggressive and sign 2 or 3 positions of need, wow, the draft could be exciting.

I'd love to snag Jeanty if the other needs get addressed. I think he can be a real game changer. But, if NE doesn't answer the immediate holes during FA, I can't see using the first pick on him. What a shame.

If they address LT and DE I still think they look toward DT or WR, McMillan the likely pick, but NE selecting a WR scares the hell out of me.

Please.

18. 49ers CB Charvarius Ward

Ward already cashed in big once in free agency when he moved from the Chiefs to the 49ers in 2022. He won't replicate the three-year, $40.5 million deal he got then. He's still on the right side of 30 years old and should have productive seasons left.

May be a solid option for a number 2 Corner with a small cap hit

There are a lot of positions of need here
That's a great synopsis of the free agents that ""might"" be available.

With the increase in the cap, some teams will be attempting to keep their potential free agents home. The big problem is that players know that this will be a once in a career opportunity to haul in a lucrative contract. The free agent market is one of the smallest and least skill player loaded and the 2025 Draft is one of the weakest in the past fifteen years.

There are a bunch of these top 25 that have injury questions and could make them a bargain. Diggs, Greenlaw, Fries and Goodwin might be had for less than the going rate. Diggs has been a Diva but his injury took him out of the elite status group and he'll have to prove that he should be back in it. If he could be signed for around $15M-$20M per for a couple of years, the risk might be worth it. Goodwin has never been a #1 but could fill that role with the Patriots and 3/$75M with $50M guaranteed might get it done. Incentives could make contracts much more appetizing.

Of course, going after Stanley will be a bidding war and the Ravens are going to do everything they can to keep him. Signing him could be very expensive and very risky because 2024 was the first year that he played every game.

Then there's the gaggle of players from 26-50............

Stay away from "old" WR's on the decline. Very little bang for the buck! (ref: Ju Ju)

True, but an aging WR who knows his stuff and still wants to play is sometimes better than young players who just don't have a clue when they have to run a timing route or just can't run a route. Or worse, just can't catch a football.

I do agree that it does depend on that ultimate cost.

Also, stay away from young WR's who cannot run a route or get seperation.
