It amazes me with all the technology we have someone can't put a chip in the ball to validate whether it crossed the marker. Again, like the computerized strike zone that is inevitable, you still need a human there in the event the technology fails or to call other items. Not like I'm trying to suggest taking away jobs... except Angel Hernandez, he can go.

He's gone. I think MLB gave him a retirement package to get out.

I mean I like how national reports said "He was tired of social media backlash"... that's at least letting the guy walk into the sunset (well, Angel would probably miss going into the sunset to the outside, but you get my drift) without just saying, "You're fuckin' fired."

One of those "Hey man, resign peacefully - we'll give you a comp package... the Judge already said you're a shit ump... and you can retain some dignity."

Anyway, my ridiculous long winded rant aside, I didn't realize he was gone jersey lol. I'm sure I heard it at some point, but late May it happened, I mean football pickin' up... I probably forgot.

You probably rejoiced like the rest of the world when Angel retired then next day forgot he retired.

Looks like the Seahawks are going with Saints coaching staff entirely on the offensive side.

I won't kill these hires since the Saints were decimated by injuries and I think Spencer Rattler started games. No one wins in that situation.

Yah, the Saints O looked like a powerhouse to start the season (I mean granted it's the Cowboys/Panthers) and then just completely decimated by injuries. Kubiak also did good things with Cousins/Purdy so he should be able to help Geno, Howell, and in the event we do draft someone - him too.

It's going to be an interesting off-season
