Pretty obvious.

They have 2 high end players and just came off a season where they underachieved miserably.

Barring major injury to Booker or Durant I don’t think it can get much worse.

And a couple smart roster tweaks could get a lot better.

Yep only difference is he would have 1 conference finals and that wasn’t a good look for him because kawhi and the boys ran off 4 straight on them after going down 2-0.

I don’t get people get how much of an asterisk the 2021 season deserves. You had teams coming into the season with only 6 weeks off then you had others with 9 months off and oh yeah didn’t they have some back to back to back games on the schedule that season?

Yep. Whole career legacies turn on tiny things like that. How do we view LeBron differently if Kyrie misses that last shot game 7 2016? Do the Warriors get KD after? What if Ray Allen misses that game winner for Miami? How about if Kawhi misses that 4 bouncer to knock off the Sixers in 2019?
