Been in the hospital for the last week. My back surgery was leaking too much fluid and doctor wanted to get in front of an infection.
A week seems like a long time! I get out of here tomorrow. Can’t wait for my bed, my shower and my toilet! Have been using my phone to keep up with the hoop but not very well. This whole thing has been a big pain in the ass! I’ll be six more weeks in antibiotics infusions at home…..

I’m very fortunate the only time in my 54 years that I’ve been to the hospital for is stitches. Lots of stitches over the years. Never a broken bone or surgery (vasectomy) anything to keep me overnight.

Same.

Lot's and lots of stitches. Mountain bike wrecks, skiing wrecks, car wrecks, 4 wheeler wrecks....never a broken bone except...

Only broken bone was my thumb caught in a wood splitter. That fuckin hurt.

I mean it. That fuckin HURT.

At least you're feeling well enough to "complain" about everything being a pain in the ass. Let's just keep any infection from setting in. That would be a huge setback.

Full strength? 6 months to a year

Good luck dude. I broke my fibula in two places four months ago and am still what appears to be a long way from full recovery. I just booked a trip to the Caribbean for late Match assuming I'll be a full go by then but man oh man has this taken longer than I thought. Good luck.

Got out of hospital last night. Got a good nights sleep.
I have swelling in my feet legs and arms from the antibiotoc injections. I took a couple of diuretics and the swelling is down now.
6 weeks of infusions coming. WTF? I do not want an infection but I will die of heart failure if I keep swelling?????
Appears I will have to go to my doctors now that I am out of the hospital??????

Dude, no joke that since my injury I've been x-rayed about a dozen times and have another x-ray tomorrow. Isn't that shit supposed to give you cancer?

I feel less and less pain as time goes on but holy hell has this been a way bigger deal than I originally thought. Hell, I walked on the thing for a week before my wife finally lost her shit and made me go to the doctor.

I wish you the best and while you're not looking for advice I'm gonna give it anyways. Get as much rest as you possibly can.

Found a little tiny icon. Screen size somehow jumped to 200%. Got it back to 100% and the icon disappeared. I think my computer motherboard is getting some form of Dementia.
How old is it?

My current vibe

So my music of preference has always that of storytelling, Seger, Browne, Dylan etc. I thought great story tellers were a thing of the past then I ran across this guy, James Blunt. He won't be for some of you, maybe none of you. But it's my current vibe so here a two songs of his I really like

Yeah...uhm no. Not my speed.

Thanks for sharing but too slow and his voice is less than melodic For Me.
But hey, here's this. No, it's not new.
