Tyrese Haliburton played 22 minutes in each of his 3 games since returning, came off the bench last night, and they are 0-3 in those games. Also I didn’t see last night but I know he didn’t play the 4th in the first 2 games. This is all due to the 65 game rule
Yep. If it’s so bad that you’re bringing a player of that caliber off the bench and he only gets 20-22 minutes it’s a strong sign that he shouldn’t even be out there on that hamstring.

I didn't like the Vincent pickup at all....people were trying to talk me into that being a solid move.
It’s lazy analysis and there are exceptions to every rule, but for me, I run like all hell away from Heat role players. They just have some magic down there where they get a top end contribution to who they are and what they do and that often doesn’t carry over to the next squad for whatever reason

I hear you but let’s not judge a guy on 5 played games on a new team. That is a super small sample size

Fair point. And to be fair, it looks from afar like Strus has transitioned well in Cleveland according to most of the Cavs posters here.

Kind of like a Maxey or Bane drop. Whitmore has made Jalen Green available for trade.

Neither of those guys were expected to go nearly as high

Bane was a bubble first rounder the whole time

Maxey sweet spot was 14-18

Whitmore was locked at 6 and went 20

lol this is all because they want to hit the 65 game mark. You don’t bring a guy back this slowly after missing about 10 days. This isn’t a guy coming off an acl tear. Last season he likely miss at least 2 of these games but this is what the league wants. Guys playing at less than 100%
Guys been playing less than 100 percent since the beginning of time

Yea his 3 pt % is down but he’s not a one dimensional player. Seems like he been playing his role nicely in Cleveland based on the numbers

Off topic but man....if Morey makes some trade magic happen at the deadline I am convinced your guys can be a player in the postseason.

Milwaukee struggling.

Boston looking good but I don't trust Mazzulla in the postseason.

It’s all about the same thing it’s always been about:
Joel Embiid’s health and ability to be Joel Embiid in the playoffs. Nobody can match up with him if he’s 100%.

Maxey is balling out of his mind.

They didn’t have to worry about it costing them millions though. NBA took an unnecessary step because the voters don’t know how to use common sense

Like voting for jaylen brown

It’s all his fault

Straight up I don’t care, it’s a bonus nothing more. Too much entitlement wanting the best of all worlds. First and foremost honor your contract. If you are fortunate to be healthy enough to get the bonus great.
