The bucks lack depth as it is, costing themselves portis and pat would leave them with almost zero depth

But solid core
They realize they need to add defense. They can’t lose Portis, he is a huge piece for them

I’m having a hard time seeing a way to make this deal without portis

Did I mention he won a national championship his past season?

Didn’t watch any ball last night but looks like Jokic and Murray had a hell of a game. I love the way Denver shares the ball. Those two primary on ball guys had a combined 22 assists.

Paolo is a deserving All Star. Really not too impressed with the “others” down there. Hes a big reason why Orlando has become a decent team.

A bunch of one sided matchups but the Clippers and Thunder keep winning. Top of the West is crazy with 4 teams in essentially a dead heat trading back and forth 1-4 on a nightly basis in the standings.

Trade deadline could be big this year or it could be a dud. It seems like from what I’ve read, there are more buyers than sellers out there. That will drive up cost on assets that may turn some people away from making “that deal”.

Suns and Bucks really need something but it doesn’t look like they have pathways to get better without swapping out existing needed pieces.

Cavs and Knicks look really fucking good right now. Both teams have been taking belt to ass most opponents. Would not be surprised to see Bucks and Sixers gravitate out of a first round home series being replaced by Knicks Cavs and Pacers.

Boston is the constant.

Due to him signing a QO, The only team that has bird rights for him is Charlotte and he has veto rights on any trade

Yea I knew on Bird rights. I'd imagine he wouldn't veto a trade to Phoenix. But yes that would depreciate his value to a team like Utah.

A trade means he the max he can get is the max anyone can offer so he just loses the really big deal from Charlotte, but sounds like they haven’t offered it anyway
