For the Celtics fan haha. You can’t shoot the load on all three picks and bring back:
1. A dude who is a questionable fit - when searching for that third option I think fit beats all. You don’t need the third option to close, or average 25 a game, etc… You need his talents to enhance the first two guys.
2. A guy on an expiring that’s also 34

I can’t believe I’m saying this but LaVine while an awful fit probably fits better than DeRozan for Embiid/Maxey. He’s a mid range assassin and a great player but he dominates the midrange to the cup. That’s exactly where Embiid needs to work. DeRozan is just gonna clog the floor. Instead of the third guy spacing for Embiid/Maxey and making life easier on them, there’s a guy who is making life more difficult.

I can tell why the Celtics fan would love to see Morey do this. This is the shit I alluded to earlier today that has me worried about Morey. If he places too high a priority on replacing Embiid’s 35 PPG in the here and the now at the sacrifice of fit he’s gonna fuck this thing up.

Well I want the Celtics to get Caruso so I’d rather you just get DD

And you may be right, but you may be oh so wrong. Those teams weren’t threatening 50 year old shooting records, I mean like all of them.
She is being generous. The playoffs are a different animal.....depending on who they draw in the 1st round? They could lose.

Next year could be the year they make a deep playoff run.

Co-sign. I want to see what everybody looks like next week and then I’m gonna do a power ranking (and leave out the Sixers cause I’ll fuck that up between heart and head), personally. Maybe I’ll start a thread and we can all do a power ranking in the East and in the West. Most likely to win the conference.
That would be fun.

I don't expect any big trades.

Maybe a DFS, Oneale types.

Derozan tone 6ers looks like the biggest possible move.

Even though he's hurt, Smart to the Lakers would and me very unhappy.

I'm guessing you'd feel the same if Smart la d's with the Bucks?

Sounds like Claxton can be had.

Him to the Thunder would be fiiiiiiilllltthy.

Every team could lose in the first round. None of these teams that went by the norms were as talented or well rounded as the Thunder and they certainly didn’t shoot it like the Thunder do. Odds are they don’t, but I don’t see anyone risking any real cash in this team not doing anything. It’s possible because of how well they shoot the ball and defend. And yeah, the playoffs are different, your better players play even more. Another advantage.

Shit .....

Didn't y'all beat the Grizz round 1?

I was trying to think of a team that bucked convention and the closest I got was the Bulls D Rose MVP year.

They actually made it to the conference finals before the Heatles fucked them all the way up.

But, they had Deng and Boozer to go along with the kiddie Corps.

I’ve already signed off on acquiring Claxton

So funny Demetrius story....

I get home from work and Demetrius comes running to the door when I enter Casa DJ Fieri here in Nashville. I tell him give me a minute to change.

He sulks off and goes to the wife's office/spare bedroom and proceeds to try and knock over a little person table we have for the little people we often have over. I hear the wife say, "No.....you cannot do that."

I come out of the master bedroom in my Raiders sweatpants and white T-shirt (my casual at home wear) and head to my spot in the living room to do what I do.....on the laptop and watch my recorded sports shows.....

He comes running over to me as I pass by the wife's office and sees me in my spot on the couch....

He looks up at me and says, "Help me, D-pa! Help me!" He usually just climbs up into my lap. Today he requested assistance.

LOL.

The 2022 Kings finished the Season shooting .2 percentage points behind where the Thunder sit today.

The Thunder are .1 behind the team that actually leads the NBA in that category.

There are several other teams within .3 percentage points this year.

Basket gets a whole lot smaller for some in he postseason.

Yup for some it does. The Thunder shoot the ball well across the board though. And I don’t think Sacramento was a top 5 defensive team either. It’s fun to discuss and why they play the games.

Sacramento not being a top 5 defensive team has nothing to do with shooting numbers.

So there is that, sir.

I don't.

They are the 2022 Griz, without the guns and bad attitudes.

Rip thru everyone in the regular Season, come undone at the hands of a veteran team in the 2nd round.

None of your main guys have a drop of playoff experience outside of SGA one year with the Clippers.

We can say all day that none of us know what the future holds.

We don't.

But, we know what's happened in the past.

Last 2 Seasons....

Sacto and Memphis.

Both were top 3 in the West.

Both got snuffed in he 2nd round.
Yep this is the growth year, first real taste of legit playoffs, like the Warriors in 2014. They will be among the leading contenders next year IMO

I don't think this is real because it links to a Twitter account opened this year.

But, just in case....

LeBron to the Knicks confirmed... Lol

* probably Dejounte *

Rich Paul has come out and said there will be no Bron trade.

I'm going to go watch Predator.

I'm not watching the Clippers game just in case they do some dastardly shit, like get blown out by the Pistons.
