This is kinda the issue with the 5 game deal for teams that won 100 plus games.

Meh. It’s just excuses for people who always fail. Clayton Kershaw in a playoff start is an on going meme. For 30 years the Braves have won something like 24 division titles and they have 2 WS in all that time because they habitually fail in the post season. The Orioles were leaking oil down the stretch and lost arms. For a young team the moment and the pressure was new and they failed in that spot. These aren’t irregular outcomes. You rise in the playoffs or you don’t. Nobody cried about Miami when they make the Finals as an 8 seed who got hot at the right time.

Phil’s have avoided the Dodgers two years in a row. 3 games, 5 games, 7 games, 9 games…it wasn’t going to matter with the Dodgers post season rotation. Maybe MLB should do a better job keeping Dodgers pitchers from beating women.

Not sure what Costas proposed, but the Dodgers were fools gold for the playoffs this year because of injuries to pitchers. Not even counting that idiot Urias, never been impressed with him anyway...but it would have been nice to have Buehler, May and Gonsolin.
