And it wouldn't surprise me if the Pats end up with it. Haven't looked at their schedule but they are pretty bad.

Do not want. There needs to be at least one bad team to count on in the AFC East. Jets with Rodgers back next season won't fit the bill.

View attachment 343074Allegedly not on his list...

He can return to USC.

Remains to be seen what players do when faced with the reality of being a top 10 pick in the NFL. But I said when NIL was first approved that we could see kids decide to stay in school if they don't think they'll be in a good situation. There isn't as much of a need to get that NFL money.

And doesn't his family have some money? Thought I read something about him being from a family that isn't exactly broke.

Sure, but in the heat of the moment, that innate desire to make the flashier play tends to come forth.

Saw it last week in a college game with a team scoring the TD instead of taking a knee and running the clock out. Gave the other team the ball back unnecessarily. No real impact as their defense held and the opponent needed two scores, but it delayed the coverage of the game I wanted to watch lol.

Yeah, to be fair to the players...in the other 59 minutes and 59 seconds of the game, they're going for the pick. It can be difficult to shut that off.

Yeah, I don't think they're rich, but he didn't exactly grow up in the projects either.

Agreed but a guy like Williams has to get to that 2nd contract as soon as possible to get the big payday.

Allegedly being the key word
Would make sense. Like TJ12 said with NIL not all these players have to go to the pros ASAP.

Not when they have a family that isn't broke and they making money in college. Return and get an insurance policy against injury....
