Yeah, I don't mind guys trying to force turnovers...but the #1 priority is to get the ballcarrier on the ground.

Pretty routinely see guys get 5-8 yards more than they should because defenders are more interested trying to rip or punch the ball out than making the tackle.

Here’s the thing. Do you think they always get 100 percent ball there? You are allowing the biggest and strongest out there a full wind up and whatever happens happens. If we are going to protect the qb we shouldn’t be allowing swings that truly could do some serious damage. Just my opinion, no problem with stripping the ball.

are we talking the ND game? I can recall one ball that should have been picked. maybe another bad throw....and a few really nice throws.

But, yeah, QBs make bad throws all the time. Even the elite of the elite in the NFL. Hell, Hartman should have had a pick 6 on their drive before our scoring drive. for it to matter they need to be caught.
