Oh y'all fighting fighting
He’d just be the 2nd best power hitter in your shitty lineup.yes. 15 homers, 30 steals, gold glove defense is overating.
what you fail to realize is that for a guy like Bohm- counting stats really dont mean shit when you have a ton of at bats and dont do anyhting well
what does Bohm do better than the average guy? The answer is nothing. He doesnt have even average power at his position. He doesnt get on base even average at his position. He doest defend even average at his position.
if he didnt have the 3rd overall pick pedigree and show potential in his rookie season he would likely have been replaced or be on the chopping block to be replaced.
A guy like Jake Burger who at least hits for power does SOMETHING well. A guy like Kebryan Hayes at least has one of the best gloves at his position. Bohm does nothing well.
Fuck your metrics dork. Billy Beane never won a playoff series. Bohm made huge strides this year in the field and on the plate. You don’t watch baseball. You watch spread sheets. Good luck to the Guardians this week
If we are talking about ranking at time of game I agree (but discussing it well after the game). all that should matter is where they are when one is talking about it IMO. If that makes sense.I've always found the ranked opponent thing to be a bit misleading. If a team is ranked because they started out beating a few bad teams and end up unranked...doesn't seem like it should count.
so TAM pretty much every season?I agree with that. Or if a ranked team is badly over ranked to start and has a disappointing season.
Billy Beane did not win a playoff series because his owner wouldn't spend...not because he tried to find ways to keep up with teams that will spend.Fuck your metrics dork. my bad.....Texas A&M.Not sure what TAM is.
I don't know, watching in back-to-back plays seeing Notre Dame only play 10 players on defense points towards the coordinator being the issue. But yes, maybe Golden PTSD....maybe.
my bad.....Texas A&M.
Yeah....while we talk CFB here, abbreviations like that not always so well known. Know what this one is......USCe?My mind went to TAMpa, Jeffrey TAMbor...would've taken a while to get to A&M lol.

He’s the hero of franchises that will never win anything. AKA the GuardiansYeah, as I recall, it was his way of competing with teams that will spend despite having an owner who wouldn't.
Those teams potential was more than maxed out just getting to the playoffs.
I mean - this is not even a close comparison. No one that follows baseball and knows anything about the game could possibly make the argument that Bohm had close to the season Naylor had- let alone better.
It is not even a close argument. I certainly dont think WAR and OPS etc. are the end-all be all- but when every single possible advanced statistic for multiple different services says Naylor has been WAY better- and OPS backs it up- you are just making an argument out of thin air to say otherwise.
He's still a D but seems like maybe he got the shaft by MLB?.....
