Well, most importantly.....they got the W.I said before the season that this defense would be better than last years, but still wouldn't be particularly good. Which is right where we are. The difference is that this year they have been able to get stops when they need them. With last years defense, they would have lost at least one of the last 2 games.
I think part of the problem for the defense, is the offense. They score so fast; the defense doesn't get to rest. At halftime, USC was up 20...but Colorado had run something like 12 more plays and had a nearly 3 minute advantage in time of possession.
The offense losing rhythm didn't help either. Colorado scored 20 straight points without an answer from the offense. Hell, Caleb even chose that stretch to throw his 1st pick of the season.
Was just curious if you thought Grinch was part of the issue.
