Yep. They got cute. They are built to pound there and at least force the time outs. There isn’t time if they don’t have the run off after intentional grounding.

At no point did they stop tbat 2 rb set

And they never did it on the most important drive of the game

The read option was dumb

The screen killed them

The screen was fine. Its usually a safe play that can get yards but the ohio state dude made a great play. My issue on that drive is the screen should have been the 3rd down call and a run should have been called on 2nd to force them to use their final timeout

Clemson not being Clemson fucks up things for them that even if they run the table, they will need a lot of luck to make it in. With Clemson remaining schedule, they look like they will end up with 4 or 5 losses.

2nd down play should have been a run with the hope of making like 3rd and 7ish then you can call a pass play

2nd and 15 they’re just as likely to bust an 8-9 yard run and at least force a time out. Then on 3rd and whatever you let Hartman do the things he does best. ND isn’t a good screen team.

Yeah duke is tricky but at least they should not get caught slipping after losing this one. That was a big trap game had they won this

9-3 does seem like the most likely outcome but hopefully they can find a way to go at least 10-2
