you're just being a jackass about this. Your neighborhood is the entire state of Texas? lol. nice backtrack.

ignoring all that the number of them that go Juco are remarkably small and didn't really warrant a comment from you other than to be contrarian for no reason. Which you seem to enjoy doing.
Can not help you.
Stay in your lane

"Oher, who played football at the University of Mississippi and was later drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2009 alleges in his petition that each of the four members of the Tuohy family were paid $225,000 for the film plus 2.5% of the film's proceeds."

The film grossed 309 mill off a 29 mill budget.

If the family was that rich they should have paid some of that 7.8 mill (2.5%) to Oher.
Alleges....

Tuohy’s lawyer said Wednesday they estimated Oher and the family received $100,000 apiece, and the couple paid taxes on the player’s portion.

Blind Side Author Michael Lewis, said the studio paid $250,000 for the option to make the book into a movie, and he said he split the money evenly with the Tuohy family. He said the Tuohy family said they split their share. While the movie was a box office smash, Lewis said he and the Tuohy family received around $350,000 each from the movie’s profits.

Lewis said the Tuohy family planned to share the money with Oher, but the NFL player declined his royalty checks. Lewis said... the Tuohy family had put the checks into a trust for Oher’s son.

I certainly won't say parts were not mutually beneficial but I can also totally see why the scenes of her showing him how to play football have never been a fave of his.
Lol movies are fake.

Anyone that doesn't keep this fact top of mind is being fooled by the production and PR companies.

According to the Tuohy’s lawyer, whatever payments they did receive were split 5 ways for all the family members ( including Oher ). He also states Oher refused to take some or all of his payments, and the Tuohy’s put his share in a trust account for Oher’s son.
The Touhys are good people confirmed. With the right ideas for the future for the people they care about.

This.

And what makes it even more weird is there was a book and movie thrown together before Oher was even drafted.

The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game
The book is an examination of how offensive football strategy has evolved over the past three decades in large part due to linebacker Lawrence Taylor's arrival in the 1980s and how this evolution has placed an increased importance on the role of the offensive left tackle.

Basing the movie on his getting into college with the help of the Tuohy's and not his pro football career is not far fetched, as he started Ole Miss in 2006 and the Movie was released in Nov. '09.

So you are saying that it was shady as hell the George W Bush did not receive any money from Oliver Stones "W" movie?

After all it was a movie about him .....he should have gotten paid ..right?
People get really stupid when they racistly support the black persons story just because of their skin color and not because of any of the facts.

It's a shame and the current culture is going to cause a lot of problems for a lot of good people and cause a lot of attention for mentally ill attention-seeking racists.

Can't they spare $15M for their adopted son then? Would've kept all of this out of the public view.
Give me 15M or I'll tell the government you raped your grandmother. Want to pay me??

what's far fetched is they had known him for maybe all a year and then a movie idea came about. it's not like the movie was produced in a few weeks.

It's sad. And the coverage and reactions are embarrassing. No way he's not getting bad advice from people who think he can use his skin color for protection in the current environment.

Somebody in Hollywood read the book, liked it enough to think it would be a good movie, and then approached them about buying the rights. Got to move quick or get beat.

How is that far fetched?
