Can't wait for these kids to go back to school next month....and I really can't wait till we move...cannot stand this rain in Nashville.

A bit drastic to move to the desert to avoid rain lol

But "he wasn't aware of it" supposedly...
That picture of the white board with the shitty hazing tradition spelled out hung in the locker room says he’s either lying or he’s an ignorant fool and hasn’t the slightest idea of what’s going on in his program. That’s a fireable offense.

I agree, I just don't think the players involved should get off without punishment as well. It's the old "soldiers just following orders" failed logic IMO.

I would agree if the plan was to do a thorough investigation and they bring charges against every player that participated over the long haul. That’s nearly impossible because at the end of the day, Northwestern wants this to go away. I have a problem with 3,4,5 guys on the current team catching a charge and likely conviction that puts them on a sex offender list for the rest of their lives making them scapegoats for what dozens of players likely did for years.

I don't have that problem I guess. If they did it, they deserve it. Just because others got away with it doesn't make it acceptable for those that didn't.

Wouldn’t be smart on his part, he can’t make that money back
If he gets hurt playing on the tag that jeopardizes more money. RBs only have so many carries in them. If he’s ever going to circle the wagons and make a stand, now is the time. He’s not getting a long term deal if he doesn’t at least threaten a hold out.

The tag is so close to what he would get he isn’t making that money back.

He is in line for 3 years and 39-42 million. That would likely come with half guaranteed. He needs to get his money now because of his position. It’s very risky to play on the tag especially as a RB. He’s one play away from his entire earning potential dissipating.

Part of the reason it’s in the teams interest to franchise him. I would let him sit and pay one of the other 8 qualified backs they will have in camp. He just doesn’t play the right position to have the leverage he wants.
