It's a gamble on health but you have to gamble to win titles. If he stays healthy they have a much better chance with him as the 6th man instead of Poole. The Wiseman gamble didn't work (on their timeline). Let's see if this one does.

He's barely got anything left but if you're a team that needs to fill roster spots in need of a guard, he's worth taking a flyer on. He didn't get many minutes with Thibs, but when he did, there were times where he looked decent.

I think its likely Poole was dealt to open up contract space for Draymond. Even if in the short term its not tangible, it is for next year. I think you have to keep the team together.

I think that Draymond becomes more volatile outside of GS.

I would love him on the Cavs since they NEED someone that has some toughness and attitude even if his skills are not what they once were.

Indeed, and defense wasn't really a problem that needed solving for the Cavs. Sacramento is the best fit (outside of GS) for both the team and Draymond.
