Still can't believe we drafted him.

Last guy I wanted this bad was Barbie Carpenter. Not one of my better football opinions.
You're one of the few that remember their good picks as well as the bad lol. I was just certain Jaylon Smith would end up a Hall of Famer

I would play Mazi beside Hankins myself. That would be the end of the inside run
Not all the time but on early downs against running teams I agree. Our LBs struggle mightily to shed blocks and make plays in the muck. One thing they have is speed. If they can stay free they can make plays.

If he was #1 in a category then why he a UDFA? What's the story?
Yeah, it's hard to say, but not surprising. The kid who led the NCAA in rushing yards wasn't drafted either. Not everything transfers to the NFL level. He was a Tackle without NFL Tackle ability so likely moving to OG. Doesn't have the measurables. Maybe he is a really bad pass blocker? Also, did his team even run a zone blocking scheme full time? Maybe it's limited snaps and he was poor in a more traditional run block scheme. Regardless it's nice to see the stat IMO.

I thought Karl Joseph was going to be an all pro in the NFL not exactly my best and I really liked Wentz at QB. Still wonder how his career might have been different if he had went somewhere other than Philly. To use a cooking analogy ” if you don’t burn scald or completely screw up a dish once in awhile you’re not pushing Your abilities and just cooking meat n taters.” Meat n potatoes are just fine but you need some baked Alaska or strawberry crepes flambe’ once in awhile 2.

Symdev ripped me pretty good on the Carpenter opinion.

One guy said we ate our own talking about the cowboy page.
Wow Round Frye and many others seems a lifetime ago but it’s only been what 8 years?
