God no......I do not want to see Stewart flailing a hundred times by June. Take Fanchez out of the lineup, and 6-7-8-9 could get ugly on the days Posey does not catch (which is looking more and more likely to be closer to 50% of the time vs. any other number).

Anyone else concerned, or is it just me?

Consider the glass as half-full. Last year 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 got ugly.

No Prepaid Pantshatting allowed this year - the GFPSB has disallowed it.

Only if C3PO is way further away than he looks. Like you said, the Giants have organizational strength at Catcher right now. It wouldn't hurt to take a risk on his development and have Sanchez get a good month to six weeks down in Fresno and then be called up if he's raking and learning the position.

Posey and Freddy don't appear to be "all the way back" like a lot of us had hoped.

I'm not overly concerned at this point. Franchez will be in the lineup by mid-April, Nate is competent, Blanco seems to be doing well, and Stamos looks steadier.

I think we'll be ok. However, as I type that, Zeets being Zeets in Arizona -- two run bomb two batters into his game.

I'm moving all throwable and breakable objects away from my TV viewing area, just in case.

I'm not surprised by Posey's situation. And I guess I shouldn't be surprised by Franchez, he's a slow healer, apparently, and torn labrums are death to shoulders.

There's going to be added pressure on Crawford to hit. Don't like that.

I'm looking forward to seeing Blanco. If anyone does it, he might push Nate to the bench.

Crawford has an RBI today. Got a single with a runner on 3rd, 1 out. Pitcher was on deck.

THOSE are the AB's that mean something in the spring.

Also, Posey jumped out of the crouch to field a bunt in front of the plate. Threw a rocket to first for the out.

Single and SB already. Of course, Zeets coughed up another run. WHIP of 3.00 through two. Sigh....fuckin' Zito.

Could you imagine how happy Tito would be in that scenario??? AIY EE, AIY EE, AIY EE!!! Cabrera-Pagan-Blanco. The rest of the Giants hitters would see nothing but fastballs right down the middle.

Royals traded for C Humberto Quintero from the Ass-tros. Guess Sabean asked too much or waited too long. Neither Whitey nor Stewart will be in KC.

Interesting...someone will need a backup C, or we'll keep both and put Vogs on the DL.

LOL. Unfortunately, tito self-immolated himself after the jsanch trade.

Zeets with a very Zito-like outing: 5 IP, 7 H, 4 BB, 3 ER. If he can give us 180 innings at that rate, I guess I'd take it.
