Quarter to one, but close enough...Coming in bringing smoke because it's noon there and 6 here lol
Just bc the trade makes a team worse doesn’t make it a worse trade. You have to look at the scenario. Players can force their way out of situations, nothing you can do about that. The Wolves gave up players and 5 1st’s for a one-dimensional paint clog. He is still a great defensive player but you don’t give up that many picks for that type of player, period. You give up that many picks for an elite scorer, star PG or two-way wing. It was a terrible trade…no way around it. Just think we are only in year one of the trade too.Lol.
Get off Twitter and the knee jerk internet and study a little history. Gobert trade doesn’t even move the needle in worst trades in sport history.
Wolves were a play in team last year. They are a play in team this year. They didn’t get worse. They just didn’t get much better.
And if you watched this game, you can see why the Wolves FO thought they needed a center to play next to Towns. For as good as he is on offense, he doesn’t do the things that make a big man a big man in basketball. And without Gobert, the Wolves aren’t even in this play in this year with Towns missing most of the season.
Bad trades make teams worse. This trade didn’t make them worse. It just didn’t make them much better. Which of course makes it a disappointing trade. But to call it is the worst trade in sports history is about as stupid of an exaggeration as it gets.
Go look at the Wolves after they traded Garnett. THAT was a bad trade. Bucks trading Kareem was a bad trade. All of those trades made those team significantly worse. Not only in the following season but for years and years to come. The Wolves arent worse for this trade….they just didn’t improve. Still a bad trade but worst in sports history?!? That’s just ignorant.
I thankfully will miss the season finale of the heat season on Friday
Nah. Not enough pain. You’re gonna have to live through a Bucks sweep.I thankfully will miss the season finale of the heat season on Friday

When you trade for a great defensive player and expect results. Less wins, went from 13th to 10th DRTG. Offensive rating went from 8th to 23rd. Ouch
