He’s been playing like that the whole year, whenever he gets an opportunity.

Was he supposed to start over Bev, Russ, Shroeder, Lonnie, THT as a 2nd year undrafted player?

He got his opportunity after the trades and injuries and has made the most of it.

This is great for the Lakers in the short term.

But, not so great for free agency.

The price tag just got higher.

Yes, you can match every offer.

I think he can be a good rotation player.

His ceiling is 2nd , maaaaaaaaybe 1st, guard off the bench, not a starter.

Yeah, the Lakers definitely are going to have some decisions to make in the off-season. I am in favor of their off-season being that they just run it back with this current roster. But it could also be expensive.

If the Lakers believe in what D-Lo said about this roster getting a full training camp together, then they won't have an issue going way over the cap. Not sure how/when a hard cap would kick in, but they'd let a couple of guys walk before they hit that.
