@trojanfan12 @shopson67 @Shaqdaddy11 @Black Adam

Yall need to suspend @DJ bandwagon privileges.

Everytime he opens his mouth to talk smack, bad shit happens…

What @DJ vs what actually happened right after…

Beasley is a sniper…..

Beasley couldn’t throw a stone in the ocean standing at the bottom of it…

Lakers gonna get the 6th seed and pass the Clippers….

Lakers back in 11th place….

Lol @WiggyRuss because Tristan Thompson isn’t even in the league anymore…..

To be honest, with Mo Bamba out, it makes sense for them to get another big. Just to absorb like 10 minutes a game.

Problem is, they should have done this the moment big Mo got injured and they knew what the timeline was going to be,

What seed are you right now?

10th.

Because of…..?

Tie breakers…lmfao

So, yeah…they are clearly a thing.

It’s okay to be wrong.

Dom’t be the guy who likes to correct others and then resorts to semantics when corrected in return.

And when that seeding changes before the Lakers get a chance to play again? Tonight vs the Knicks perhaps?

Today they have the 9th best record in the West, and wherever they ultimately settle, tie-breakers may come into play. 9th or 10th, still a play-in scenario, but looking at it way too early to matter. The only thing that matters today is how many games they are behind their target of 6th, which as of this moment is 1.5 games, also going to change before the Lakers play next. 10 games left for the Lakers, need to win most if not all to accomplish that goal: vs Suns, vs Thunder, vs Bulls, @Bulls, @Wolves, @Rockets, (@Jazz, @Clippers: back to back), vs Suns, vs Jazz.

The way they're playing? I wouldn't expect better than 6-4 without Lebron, who should be re-evaluated this week). Durant could be back for that penultimate game vs the Suns, which certainly doesn't help.

To be honest, I try to avoid watching ESPN every moment I get. Mainly because of the Jackson/Van Gundy combo

I'd rather deal with them than some of the blatant homer crews on the NBA TV telecasts, lol. Impartiality out the window, along with the sound from the telecast via the mute button.

Agree.

They need another big, even if it’s a 10 day guy.

If he’s healthy, you got Ayton 2x, Vuvecic 2x, Sengun, Lauri/Kessler/Olynyk 2x.

Dude, why the word salad?

You said they were 9th, they aren’t.

It is not to early to look at tie breakers.

Most teams have 10-12 games left.

In your case, it’s against teams ahead of you.

Say for some ungodly reason you end up tied with the Clippers…

We still finish ahead of you, why?

If you finish tied with Dallas, they finish ahead why?

If you finish tied with the Jazz, who finishes first and why?

Because of tie breakers…lol

That is the exact reason the loss to Dallas was so trash.

You handed them the Season series.

So, they probably should have been looking at tie breakers weeks ago and definitely need to pay attention against the Thunder and Jazz.

Oh god, NBA TV can be even worse. I much prefer watching games through League Pass as you get to chose the home/away commentary. Sadly there were a crap-ton of games on National TV for the Lakers.

Fortunately out of the final 10 games, there are only four of them. So Bill and Stu get my full attention.

The key word is FINISH. We aren't there yet, no need to worry about it. Just look at the loss total and move on game by game.

Yours and my, you and me? I didn't lose that game to the Mavs. I didn't miss free throws. I also didn't lose that game vs Rockets. If "I" had any control over it, Jay Huff would've been a Laker a month ago. Hell, Russ never would've been a Laker, nor Bev.

I don't think Bill and Stu are as homeristic, but that's probably because I share their leanings lol.

Actually they are one of the better ones out there. They will at least be honest when stuff doesn't go the Lakers' way. I very rarely see them blame refs.

I try to watch at least a quater a game with the other teams commentary and some of them are fucking dreadful. Portland's for instant. I think Charlotte is pretty bad too.

I would strongly suggest you never say the Lakers have the tiebreak over anyone, like ever. Just trying to help you out.

Ah…

The you’s and me’s?

Dude, just surrender.

That is a common part of sports fandom lexicon.

Funny enough they have the tie breaker over the Warriors!!

That's the only one I know off the top of my head
…and it’s a important one.

You are 1-1 with the Thunder, whom you face on the 24th.

But, no biggie….

It’s too early to worry about tie breakers.

I’m just messing with him.

But, it’s funny to see him insist that these things are inconsequential with a dozen games left in the Season.

I mean it’s almost as if tiebreakers are important enough that teams should be taking them into consideration when making lineups. Like I said, almost lol.

Fair deal.

But, Caruso gotta be like, wtf..

I only wanted 8.

Austin Reaves’ surge is setting him up for a fascinating offseason. He will be a restricted free agent this summer, and will undoubtedly have multiple suitors looking to pry him from the Lakers — especially after stat lines like Sunday’s. Both the Lakers and Reaves’ camp have interest in Reaves re-signing in Los Angeles, according to multiple league sources who were granted anonymity so that they coud speak freely. The max the Lakers can offer Reaves is a four-year, $50.8 million contract if they chose to use his Early Bird Rights, but they also have the power to match any contract he signs with another team.

Someone will make them pay just because, it is known they won’t let him go.

The Lakers better not fuck this up. The way he's been playing, 4 years/$50m is a fucking bargain
