You could argue Luka is the most important to his team. Standings mean more than production. Honestly Luka and Giannis are guys that put up stats every game and Luka has mediocre team around him. I would vote for Luka over anyone

It doesn’t matter. He’s done that for the last 2.5 seasons. They’re never giving him an MVP. NBA media hates him and they’re dug in. If it’s not Jokic, they’ll find somebody else and some other reason to give it to them. The media doesn’t keep the guy from being the first 5 since Shaq to lead the league in scoring. The media doesn’t keep the guy from being the first 5 since Mo Malone in 81-82 to average over 30 a game. And the media isn’t responsible for him never getting out of the 2nd round. But the media is responsible for holding that against him when that didn’t apply to Giannis for his or Harden for his or Russ and Joker winning as they led a 6th seed.

I just hope the guy realizes it and load manages down the stretch so that we see a healthy Embiid for the first time in the playoffs.

It's a brutal run but they should win 4-5 of those at least. All the teams are pretty close to each other, there's no truly dominant team.

Jokic isn’t even top 5. Sorry. When you’re the focal point of what the scouting report is going to exploit defensively you’re not the best player in the league. You’re the best player in the league when we let algorithms and math nerds like Nate Silver tell us what to think.
