Barring something completely unexpected happening, the Turner/Hield trade, if it's still an option, would be the one to make and is definitely one that you use 2 firsts on, imo.

But Lavine would be a good plan B. He shoots 38% from 3 and 46% overall. The percentage from 3 is really good and 46% from a perimeter guy is also good. He also brings a little more size which helps the perimeter defense as well as preventing things like Pat Bev trying to cover Kawhi.

The potential problem that I could see is that from what I've read, it seems like he considers himself a #1 option. On the Lakers, he'd be the #3 option most of the time. If he has trouble accepting that, it could become a problem, if not in the locker room, then on the court if he struggles trying to adjust.

He's not an FA until 2027, which is good as they wouldn't be giving up a 1st for a half year rental. But it also gets pretty expensive in the latter part of it (nearly $49 million in '26-'27).
I don’t think he’d have that issue on the Lakers.

People thought Derozan was slightly washed, or at least declining, when he signed with the Bulls.

So, I can kinda see Zach’s point not wanting to be the beta when he’s been there the longest.

Outside of Kyrie, what player has ever tried to play that shit with Lebron?

But, what a luxury to have White, Brogdon and even Pritchard.

Oh no doubt about that.

I was so excited when the Celtics got White. Remember his lone season with the Buffs. He's paid his dues to get to the league.

And Brogdon. What a great addition. Also Galo hasn't played yet, he'll be great for the bench. But he might be out all season.

Hield and Turner would still be the smarter trade since Bryant is walking in the offseason.

I wouldn't immediately call that a certainty. He's happy in LA and if the team plays their cards right and figures out a better Hachimura deal, they would certainly have the cap space to offer him a better deal.

AD is probable.

James and Walker are questionable.

Reaves is out. He won't be back till the 30th most likely.

Lonnie Walker might be available for the Lakers tonight, depending on a pregame test. Would be a major boost for LA

He's going to get a nice raise from his current contract. No question about that.
You could keep Thomas with the room exception.

But, like Monk, there is definitely the risk of being outbid.

I just don’t know what Turner’s price tag will be.

Whatever Indy offered, he said…nah.

We're gonna have like 25 mill available in practical cap space. With 9 spaces to fill, assuming Hach is resigned.

He's in line to get about 8-10 mill per. He probably gone most likely.

Yup.

Lakers: Anthony Davis (right foot stress injury) is probable, LeBron James (left ankle soreness) and Lonnie Walker IV (left knee tendinitis) are questionable and Austin Reaves (left hamstring strain) is out.

The Lakers have the MLE next year too. Might not be enough to entice Bryant, but he's coming off a minimum deal and I don't know many teams that have an immediate need for him, enough so to offer him a lot more.

No.

You will have 33 million-ish.

Take off the roster spots, it goes down to 23 ish.

Say Rui gets 10, that leaves you 13 mil.

But, you also gotta pay Reaves.

That’s where you need to make a decision.

Because, people are saying he’s getting more than you balked at giving Caruso.

You good with that?

According to The Athletic's Jovan Buha, Reaves could be looking for a contract that pays him around $10 million or more per season. “'From what I've heard on that, it's going to be more than Caruso money, that's for sure,' Buha said. 'It's going to be double digits.

Don't bank on it. The same was said about Monk till he got butthurt and left.
