.632 winning percentage. Helped Brees become an elite QB. He is the type of coach Murray needs.

As you said, your judgment is clouded.

Brees would have been an elite QB no matter where he went. He carried Payton more than the other way around.

I don't think it's a laughing matter for you.

Like him or not, he's a good coach and bringing on some scab and shutting it all down in a rebuild would have put them at the bottom of the NFC for the foreseeable future. Him coming back means the Rams still can fight.

Good for McVay for toughing it out. As much as I hate the Rams, he is a damn good coach. But now, it will up to Les Snead to see what he can do to get that Oline in shape. Also need to see how Stafford bounces back. I think Kupp will be okay. Gonna be tough for them given limited resources but Snead seems like a pretty smart dude. He'll have to do some work to get their cap space in order and the 2nd and 3rd rd picks need to be good ones because they have nothing until the 6th rd after that. The defense is still solid and obviously will be better with Donald back.

Donald is getting old and has always been a small guy. Does McVay even love football anymore? Anyone sure Stafford will be better than Goff next year?

They are lucky they won it last year because they are looking at a future of 2022 type seasons.

In 1st comments since deciding to return to Rams Sean McVay tells me: “I wanted to take some time to really know I could restore and renew the passion and zest I need and after leaning on family and friends and taking time to reflect. It became clear to me, I don't want to run away from adversity. I want to run through it."

Read that quote I just posted, does he love football? Sounds a hell like it.

Nobody cares about your predictions, the Rams are not one to sit around in mediocrity. If they have to make a trade, they will, dump a salary, they will. People were saying the same thing in 2019, no salary cap room, no draft picks. They are not going to let last season be the norm. They are not some bad franchise like the Texans, Browns or Cards.

Well, there's a saying that if you love what you're doing you'll never work a day in your life. That stated, if he questioned his love then maybe it's not love. That or he's a 25 year old broad that married the wrong guy for the wrong reasons?

Honestly sounds like a guy trying to convince himself he still wants to do it.

Good luck.

I was curious. Why he had to go in & talk to the rams. He was already under contract.

Maybe it was a power play and he actually wants a little more control of overall operations?

I thought he was apart of the give away the future for right now scenario?
No?

Staley should already have his pink slip. Give it to him in the locker room. Don't even let him on the plane. Pick up Sean Payton on the way back to LA
