My thoughts exactly....I like Perez at 2 in that scenario more than Gray.

1. DeGrom
2.Rodon/Senga
3. Perez
4. Gray
5.Drizzy

and the rest available when Gray misses 8 starts
On another note, Gray has been pretty durable besides last year.

I know im being greedy but if we did land Senga or Rodon I would be ok with moving Gray to someone for some RP
I wouldn't complain at all, but I am not going to act as if the rotation is in bad shape either.

I have to say I have never been a big fan of Gray but after the beginning of the season last year, he pitched better than I thought he would for a good stretch, until he went out hurt

Darvish would be a good get
That is one reason I am not banging the table for another TORP. There will be others to be had before we sniff a World Series.

How does that compare to our WS teams' rotations?

Shaping up much better for sure but I would never scoff at the opportunity to make the club better with any chance I might have

I think it is much better at the top....

Those WS teams were just loaded with hitters throughout the lineup. I would love to have that rotation and our 1-9 hitters from 2010 or 2011

better at the top, worse at the bottom
In that scenario it would depend on which version of Odorizzy Texas is getting and if Otto's performance his last twelve starts last year carries over.

In 2010 Scott Feldman and Rich Harden made 40 starts between them. Both had ERAs around 5.50.

Yeo. Over his last 12 starts Otto put up an ERA better than Hunter and Colby did in 2010.
