He looks like trash. These rookies got 3 years to show they worth the extension. Warriors not going to give him shit if he doesn't significantly improve
Agreed but still not settled at all. And if they are busts, they are busts. We just don't know yet.

As a top 10/lottery pick the expectations should be starter/top 5 player on team by year 3. The warriors 2 picks look like role players at best. They'll get by now because steph likely at a very high level for another 3 seasons or so but man when he leave? They are going regret going 0-2 on these top 10 picks.

Generally you see some kind of spurts of success from the young guys. It's concerning when they can't put it together at all.

Sometimes a guy like Bagley a light switch goes on and he is productive. But for him going 2 he is still disappointing.
At this point, I don't even judge Bagley nor Fultz relative to.draft position.

Like, I remember they didn't live up to where they were taken.

But, you can at least tell they are actually NBA caliber players at their 2nd stop.

They just need to get healthy.

Again: Look.what Chauncey Billups and O'Neal turned out to be after being written off.

Yes, they are the exceptions.

But, there is still hope.

Not happening, they have to let him play
.....and they will.

Thunder will be in most games and falter at the end, like last night.

They need to learn how to put the really good teams away at the end of games.

So, the losing will be holistic, not manufactured.

But, they won't be a bottom feeder.

Doesn't mean the ping pong balls can't bounce the right way.

Simply not known yet. Big men take longer. They won't be regretting anything about this era though.

Yes. You do know teams must make decisions on ext by end of year 3? It is very rare that yoi are a mediocre player for your first 2 seasons and you miraculously get a big time extension due to 1 good season

Sure, but we are only what, a dozen or so games into his second season? He just turned 20. Teams aren't REQUIRED to give an extension after year 3, they have a club option for year 4 then can give a QO for year 5 to keep restricted FA status. They could be slow-footing some of these kids to delay those extensions.
