I say trade horford and smart at the deadline and replace with them brogdon and rob williams if needed.

Horford is having a terrible year so far and smart has been pretty bad also.

Not high on rob at all but grandpa horford doesn't seem to be cutting it. And brogdon is a better player then smart.

However these teams usually make 1 visit a year to cities
Fans are paying the bills and are paying top dollar to see certain players play.

Sure the goal is to win a championship. That has never changed.
However the durability ot these players has and the coddling needs to stop

The gate and concessions are a drop in the bucket. It’s about the tv money. That’s what drives league finance.

Comparing Tatum vs bird

Shooting: tie. Bird was a better shooter on paper but he didn't have anywhere near the 3 point volume that Tatum has. So I can't say for fact that bird is better

Scoring: I'm a go with Tatum here. I think he's a more explosive and versatile scorer. Bird had many playoff struggles scoring.

Defense: bird may be underrated here but Tatum is elite and clearly better

Passing: Bird wins here but Tatum is underrated

Rebounding: tie. Bird rebounded slightly better but he wasn't stretched out and guarding the three majority of games.

Overall, I'm going with Tatum here but we'll see as his peak is just starting. Tatum is also more athletic even though he isn't that athletic himself

And career wise, Bird was a better scorer. Bird averaged 24.3ppg to Tatum's 21ppg.
