Barely 10 games in peeps! This isn’t the NFL. You’re not going to see how your team really play’s until December, before the allstar break.
Generally true, but I can tell whatever Casey is doing with the Pistons isn't working already. For a guy who is supposed to develop young players I am not seeing improvement and zero effort on the defensive end. Time for a new coach in Detroit.

Don’t let what Klay is today make you forget what Klay was.

The ideal complimentary star.

2 way player who doesn’t need the ball.

He doesn’t seem to have it anymore, but every good team needs a Klay Thompson. Very rare skill set.
But that’s the thing, he isn’t what he was anymore. He might be a poor sport and a little bitch but he is playing out of his element. Draymond does that type of stuff-that’s his role, Klay would let his game do the talking…he can’t do it anymore. Don’t talk shit now if you can’t back it up. Book made him look like a fool.

As I said way back before even Klay came back--- a guy who has a ton of miles on him and has had multiple serious surgeries on his legs is going to see his game fall off.

he is only 32 but its pretty clear that he cannot do what he used to--- so when he is getting smoked he resorts to quoting the past, getting T'd up, and ejected.

he is going to have to learn that he is no longer capable of doing what he used to do on a nightly basis and make adjustments--- guys like booker are just gonna smoke him. He is n o longer on or near that lvel. Maybe a night here or there he will still have big games---- but the night in and night out threat? gone and never coming back.

I agree..to a degree. He's never going to be the elite defender he once was but he can still be valuable I think on that end of the court.

In addition, he only played one preseason game as he had some nagging injuries in camp. The Warriors have had him on a minutes restriction since the season began and are starting to ramp him up a bit. I think there will be at least another 5 games before we can see what he's fully capable of being this season.

getting into a rhythm will help and I imagine he wil lstill have some big offensive nights.

Definitely. Through 4 games this year he's averaging 22 mpg. That's tough to get a rhythm going when you're playing 5-6 minute stints with about 12 minutes of game time in between to sit.

Wiggins has been phenomenal to start the year. Jordan Poole started off slow but he's had a nice last two games. Steph is Steph. Draymond I think is playing very well.

They're getting everyone's best shot. But to honestly they have a lot to work on, especially on defense. They're downright atrocious on that end of the court right now. They're really missing what GP2 and OPJ brought to this team in terms of their defensive ability and IQ. They're giving up 124 pts per game to the opposition, for 29th in the league. The Warriors won last year because of their defense which was 2nd in the NBA to the Celtics. If they can't get into the top 10 defensively, they won't have any shot in the playoffs.

What's their record going to be in 20-25 games?

Lakers are top heavy.

They have two of the best players in the NBA.

But, after those two?

The others , outside of Lonnie and Bev, wouldn't average double figure minutes for any team out West, probably not even the ones tanking.

Not even Westbrook.

Because, any team he plays for, wants to buy him out....except the Lakers.

The Clippers are losing to a team playing for ping pong balls.

That's chump shit.

You take these guys so lightly that you sit both of your highest paid players, you can't get blown the fuck out.

Lakers, Clippers, Chargers making the Rams look like respectable, lol.

I feel sorry for Chris Paul fans and his teammates. He has broken the franchise record for regular season wins with 3 different franchises. But no matter what happens, the season will always end the same and that's him being a loser. It's like watching a good movie with a terrible ending, that's chris paul's entire career.

When the common denominator is Chris Paul, tough to feel sorry for him IMO.

Lost some key role players who contributed to that defense.
Indeed, and that's what the first 20 games are about, figuring out how to make it work with new people. But the ones still there haven't been great on that end yet either.
