Clippers coming to the OKC this week for 2 games with a night off in between. I think COVID made the league look at stuff like this to contain costs. I don’t see a problem with it.
Yeah i get it but i really hate it

Guessing we will probably get Leonard one night only and the Thunder are saying SGA and Giddey are day to day so who knows there. Hell we are all day to day.

Its a problem when half the players still don't show.

SG-A, Giddy and George out.

Fucking ridiculous.

Now George needs rest.

League going to have to address this, ticket sales are going to be affected if they aren’t already. Especially headed into a declining economy.

The Lakers problem isn't even necessarily that they don't shoot 3's well. The team that won the title wasn't what you'd call a good 3 point shooting team. They were better than this one, but they sure as heck weren't reminding anyone of the Warriors either.

I think Reggie Miller nailed it the other night when he said the biggest problem is that they don't hit "timely 3's". That was something that title team did well. It seemed like any time they needed a 3 to end an opponent's run, or continue one of their own, they got it.

This team doesn't have that. They did a bit in the 3rd quarter yesterday which was why they went into the 4th quarter with the lead. But went back to missing them in the 4th.

Also, as I mentioned yesterday, as this roster is constructed, even when their 3 point shooting eventually improves, it's not going to be by enough to justify 40+ per game.
Yeah, and no chance they would be this bad all season on treys.

If they keep the roster the same?

MAYBE you shoot 31-33%......maybe.

But, your roster is absolute DOG SHIT when it comes to shooting.

You can shine that turd as much as you like.

They still can't shoot.

People have been telling you this all summer.

But,you just continue to put lipstick on a pig.

But, I will put my money where my mouth is that we don't shoot 21% all season.

This is a joke
I agree. I mean I saw SGA hurt his hip and Giddey hurt his ankle. Neither looked like much. You can’t call yourself a man if you are sitting out to rest. I mean f me make something up that sounds better than that.

The Thunder players were injured but they need to be watched too. The NBA better start looking around at this.

Why are people directing their anger at players who load manage? We all agree 82 games is too much. It’s all about the league turning more money. These guys are doing what they can to get things to a more reasonable 60-62 games so they’re healthy for the playoffs. These players don’t care if somebody paid a ticket and they don’t see a star. Why should they be more motivated in this regard than league owners?

No one is saying the teams are not complicit.

If anyone could, it would be these Lakers.

In 3 games, Pat Bev has taken 1 two point shot.

.......and he missed it along with most of his 3's.

Nunn has been GARBAGE.

Even Lebron's percentage has dropped.

With that said, no way will they shoot 21%.

But, you won't shoot League average either.

Of all the guys on your roster, LeBron and Bev are going to dig themselves out of those shooting holes.

But, guys like Brown and as good as he's been, Lonnie Walker, are who they are from distance.

Your defense is on point.

But, when the opposition doesn't even need to bother closing out on any of your shooters, you have problems.

More than complicit. They are the ones that create the condition. The season should be much shorter to create the best and most consistent product. Less games is never an area they’ll ever consider. In fact, they’re more likely to add games than they are to reduce them.
