Exactly. And while Draymond has his flaws I don't think they're as bad as BS's.

I mean this is a guy that can't be trusted. Or at least that's the way I see it. All it took for him to quit on the 76ers was criticism. What's to say he doesn't try pulling that crap again?

He's talented but it's so funny he's a Net now. Barkley called KD Mr. Miserable. He wanted the HC & GM fired. We all know about Kyrie. Poor Steve Nash. He's got his hand full with the Three Stooges.
Nash should not be the head coach....imo

He wasn't ready.

The moment he lost D'antoni, I knew there would be trouble.

Add in the toxic players and it's been a recipe for disaster.

Ben should be able to get at least some combination of 8 jump hooks, layups or dunks per game.

His inability to at least try is baffling.

Hopefully, he puts more effort into scoring as the season progresses.

We have to remember, these guys are actually playing together for the first time.

J'Myke Green was a great pickup.

White Dante * racist * is no GP on defense.

But, he's not Trae Young either.

He's going to give you a very nice mix of offense and defense.

You just need one of Kuminga/Moody to take a step.

Also, as the season goes on, watch my guy Ryan Rollins.

He can really play.

I think the Warriors should be ok, it's just about finding the ideal situations to use these guys. All those guys you mentioned for the most part had a skillset that would allow them to play with mostly anyone on the court at the same time. They could fill a need, as required.

Kerr is still find out how to to use DiVincenzo. J. Green has been a good addition, but he's also limited on playmaking and passing. Kuminga's scoring just isn't there yet, so he kind of floats on offense. Moody is becoming a guy who's going to be too good not to play, so how do you fit him in there? If you want more Wiseman time with Steph, where can you find minutes for Looney or Draymond on the 2nd unit?

I mean just a lot of questions that will take time to figure out.

Totally agree on J-Green...he was a real nice get no doubt.
Jury for me is still out on DdV though, but the season just began.
Can't wait for Kuminga & Moody to take that leap to the next level.
Right now it seems like Wiseman is still working his way back into real NBA shape....and the more minutes he gets, the better.

There's too many headcases on the Nets for the inexperienced Nash. Doubt he knows how to handle egos like that.

As far as BS's lack of offensive production maybe he's afraid to shoot? It's gotta be mental thing for him at this point wouldn't you think?

And them finally playing together, they get a grace period. If I remember the Heatles got off to slow start their first year together. But if the Big Three can keep their shit together all season they should be damn good.

You really think if Ben had been a Dub, and Dray had been a Sixer during their time in the league, things would still be as they are now??
Probably not, but you said it was a bad comp. They are very similar. No one said they were the same. obviously the main difference is Simmons is taller and Draymond is much stronger mentally.

I'll dial back from almost exact comp to good comp.

Because they aren't.
It's not just based on their stat numbers.
I'm taking leadership DNA and overall basketball IQ into their dissimilar makeup.
Dray wins easily on both...not even close.
He has the kind of stuff you can't teach...it's acquired.....and Ben just doesn't have that.

For the fantasy people, I think Royce O’Neal is going to be this years Bruce Brown on the Nets.

Wonder who's a better shit-talker? I could see Draymond making BS cry.

They are very similar in what they offer teams.

Defense, passing any scoring is a bonus.

But, like you said....

Dray's resume shits all over Ben's.

Plus, Draymond is not AFRAID to shoot.

He just doesn't need to.

Simmons is afraid, which makes him a liability.

But, he's on the perfect team to camouflage his play.

When Curry gets healthy, and IF Warren ever does, he's surrounded by scorers.

I would trade the guy too willing to shoot that shouldn't for the guy scared to shoot right about now....

:rolleyes2:

False equivalency, bruh.

Simmons is bigger and more athletic, Dray is the more willing shooter (and possibly the better shooter). With Simmons' retreat into fear of shooting, it's hard to tell what he could actually make anymore.

Teams have been trying to force Simmons into the Magic Johnson role all along to their own destruction. If Simmons was a 4 year college player that fell into a loaded roster like Dray did and was put in the proper role, would things be all that different?

That Russ trade was a disaster of a decision.
One of the many reasons the Lakers have made it clear they are no longer taking direct orders/suggestions from James concerning personnel decisions. James has taken some heat for encouraging the Lakers to trade for Westbrook but now, and for obvious reasons, he is remaining quiet and out of the discussion with media types.

Not sure, but they probably would be. Good question though.

There's also the team chemistry dynamic that needs to be taken into account as well.
Some rosters just don't have it...not to mention the role players, +/or competent coaching & a front office needed to reach into the upper echelons.
