Rooting for the Phillies in this series.

So I tried looking up what kinda food is San Diego known for. Here's what popped up.

-fish tacos (when I'm thinking about baseball I think of fish tacos, don't you?)

-Cali style pizza (never heard of it, don't know what's on it, could be anything, after all it's California)

-oysters (nope)

-Cali carne asada burrito (that sounds good)

-clam chowder (nope)

-sushi burrito (fuck no!)

-ceviche (no clue what that is)

-sea urchins (see sushi burrito)

None of that stuff come close to a cheesesteak.

Bryce Harper played one season at Community College of S. Nevada. I went to some of his games before I got outta the Vegas area. He put up video game like numbers his only season there.
The Mexican food in San Diego is some of the best you'll ever have. Carne Asada fries....always hit the spot.

I love Sushi too (go figure), but I don't mess with the sushi burritos either. That's a hard pass.

This one is amazing. Just bad memories of that series, lol.

Here's the yankees one...

Steroids or no, were we not entertained watching that guy hit home runs? He was like a superhero (just needed his spinach for the extra superpowers)

Not surprised S.D. has great Mexican food. Carne asada fries sound good.

And I have nothing against sushi, had it many times. It's good.

He was a one man show. It was incredibly enjoyable to swing the bat. His eye for the ball was second to none.

+ 1. Dude was on a hall of fame path before he found steroids. If we’re being honest close to 1/3 of MLB was juicing. You have to acknowledge that for sure. But he seems to get more shade than most and it’s only because of all the juice heads, he’s the one that just went next level. Juice puts some strength on the swing, but juice doesn’t explain timing and hand eye coordination. Dude was one of the best pure hitters I’ve ever seen. I’ve never seen any other man intentionally walked with the bases loaded. I’ve never seen another man walked with nobody on.

Yep. It's literally a Greek tragedy, with the hero and his envy and hubris causing his downfall. He saw lesser players like Sosa and McGwire get all that love juicing up and hitting HRs so he said hold my beer. And we got to see a guy hit a baseball in a way we will never see again, at the cost of his baseball soul.

From an English teacher, had to give you props for this poetic post. Loved it.

Cooperstown should add a separate wing.

Shoeless Joe, Charlie Hustle, Bonds, Sosa, McGwire, A Rod, Palmeiro, Clemens.

The true history of the game can't be told without them.
