For those bashing the Lakers.....it makes total sense for Pelinka to bicker over those picks being unprotected.....he knows Hield and Turner give the Lakers a 2-3 year window to contend with James and AD. Why not try your best to get what you want when you can always relent later maybe? I understand the whole win now mentality but no other team is really beating down the Pacers door for Hield and Turner but he also knows that the Lakers will be bad come '27 and maybe even '29. He can always start the season with RW and.........

if things go sideways early in the season up until the trade deadline.

That plus it was something shr would have been doing for the first time. Maybe if she was the house of previous nba finals then stepping aside in 2020 is possibly something she agrees to but for the biggest moment in her career? Hell no
