I hope they list Elizabeth Warren at 6.Probably someone from Fox News is copying that and turning it into a list of what politician do you trust the most and is most good. And of course listing Trump at 9.
What number is the Whalers?
Billy Smith was the GOAT
Do they care if they are just secondary assists?Just five players in the top 40 assists in NHL history are not in the Hockey Hall of Fame, and only two (Vincent Damphousse and Pierre Turgeon) are currently eligible for induction. The other three (Jaromir Jagr, Joe Thornton and Sidney Crosby) will certainly be selected in the future.
Vincent > Pierre
I look at Joe Nieuwendyk. Very comparable and Joe is in.On the one hand, I don't think Damphousse had a hall of fame career. On the other hand, I think they have enshrined several players whose careers can't hold a candle to Vinny's. Does that mean he should be inducted? Smarter people than me can make that decision lol

True. With both their numbers were more about being around a long time.Yeah, I think you hit on it earlier my friend when you mentioned assists where Nieuwy has over 560 goals. 500 goals is still a magic number in my mind.

Neither put up 100 pt seasons and combined only had five 40+ goal season with Joe getting four of those.
And for the 90+ pt seasons combined only did it 6 times with Vincent doing that four times.
Look at guys like Clark Gillies and Glenn Anderson. Probably more products of playing on great teams and with the cups got them the HOF inductions. Otherwise I doubt either would have made it.Joe was a pretty important piece of two Stanley Cup winning teams (Vinny had a great run with the Habs in '93) - Put it this way, if Vinny was eventually inducted inti the Hall, it wouldn't bother me near as much as Kevin Lowe getting in.

And in Anderson's case I doubt he would have scored that many points if not playing in Edmonton.
